Prologue

It was raining hard. She could feel and hear her own heart beat amidst the pounding rain. It was cold. So cold. She was hoping it was the end of her. She doesn't want to suffer. Not now, not here. It was a risk and she had taken it. But that man did not even bother. That man was pure evil. 

Jumping below would end her, she knew that. But it's better to die from the fall than to die in his hands, she thought. She decided to take one step and then another. Another. Another. She felt gravity started to pull on her. Engulfing her all around. 

But that's where it ended when she felt his hand on her throat.
