they're going to start to wonder why you're so late
it doesn't matter how much you cut the feeling stays the same
the scars on your arm don't matter to them
the tears of mascara are invisible
dry your eyes
pat the blood
pretend nothing happened
that's what'll make them happy
just keep doing it
until the counting is up
because there's so many scars you can't even count
