Don't you see it?
Do you not see what's going on with your child?
She's left alone
Her brain blurred by her thoughts
You don't see her sobbing all day?
You don't see her looking through her phone
A mess of what she's become?
No
You don't
You don't see her struggle
You don't see what's happening to her
You just see what's come from it
You see the monster she's become
The one that no one loves
The one who loses all of her friends
For one who lives across the damn globe
But you don't see her cry
You only see her as the punching bag
But she'll take the hits
Because she can't say no
Until there's nothing to say no to
Because it's too late
And you'll no longer see her at all.
