i sit here
shaking
i reach to open the closet door
never being more scared
i look at the steel door
a four digit code being the only thing stopping me
i realize
the 3 people i care about most
are all in the same house
but no one sees me reaching to the steel door
no one watches me try to break the code
it would be so easy right now
if i could get through that door
please
i just want to break through
i almost want to see you rush down the stairs
to save me
but i also don't want you to see me like this
i've broken
there's nothing stopping me anymore
except the four digit code
and the steel door
