My monsters garden

There's a monster under my bed and it's out to get me
I've had it since a child
But it's quest has changed
It not only scares me
But it implants the fears as well
It talks to me in my sleep
It plants it's thoughts into my brain
There's now a garden
It's my monsters garden
Full of the most wicked plants he could grow
"She doesn't love you"
"They aren't your friends"
It plants these seeds when it talks to me
Until the garden is overgrown
"I don't know how to tend a garden"
I try to tell it
But it doesn't listen
It keeps planting
And taking over
My brain is overgrown
There's no room left for reality
All that's left is my monsters garden.
