Dominic's POV.

I decided to not confront them. I turned around and walked back into the living room with October.

"Hey we need to talk when Carol and Travis leave."

"Everything ok Dominic?"

"Yeah."

"Ok well I want to talk to you too about something."

Few minutes later Carol and Travis joined us.

"So what's the video you two were talking about?"

"Here I'll bring it up."

I pull up YouTube and start the video.

"October is that you?"

"Yeah. I'm dancing with Dominic."

"Is this your band Dominic?"

"Yeah."

"Lovely voice. You two look wonderful."

October is smiling away.

A little while later Travis and Carol left.

"Ok so what's up?"

"When you came into the living room I walked towards the kitchen. I heard Carol and Travis talking about scamming you out of that money.

That's why she keeps bringing it up. To make you feel bad."

"Are you serious?"

"Would I lie to you about something like this?"

"No. I kept having this weird feeling that when we were in Sacramento. Like she was trying to guilt me. Did you say anything?"

"No. I didn't want to say anything to them until I talked to you."

"How are we gonna prove it though?"

"Believe it or not but one of Michael's hobbies is hacking."

"What's that got to do with anything?"

"He can find out about the mortgage and what she actually owes. Plus medical bills."

"Ok call him right away. Like right now."

"I just need Carol's last name."

"It's Harris. Carol Michelle Harris."

"I'll call him now."

I pull out of my phone.

"Hey Michael I need a favor."

"No problem Dominic what's up."

"I need you to find out some information on October's mom."

"Um ok?"
