"And who this nigga supposed to be to you anyway?"

With a chuckle, Dana tried fixing the button to the dress she wore, as she peered through her mirror at an angry Dino.

"For like the hundredth time Dino, he's a friend of a client of mine. I met him at one of the parties I catered." She explained, while running her fingers through the curls in her hair.

For some reason, there was one curl in particular that just did not want to stay in place, "I ran into him the other day, we talked a little bit and he asked me out on a date

For some reason, there was one curl in particular that just did not want to stay in place, "I ran into him the other day, we talked a little bit and he asked me out on a date." She grabbed an eyeliner off of her bathroom counter and popped the top off, "I said yes, and we're going out tonight." She simply shrugged.

"But you barely even know the nigga though."

Dana tried her hardest not to laugh at Dino, just from the wrinkling of his eyebrows, and the tone in his deep ass voice, he was really pressed about her going on a date with someone else.

Men.

"Not true! Not true at all, he and I had gotten acquainted at a few of those parties. He's a really cool guy actually."

Dino twisted his lips to the side and scoffed, "I don't believe that shit!"

Dana whirled around to face him, leaning against her counter, "why not?"

"How come I ain't never met him?"

Pfffft! Yeah right!

"Yeaahh, ummm, see that's never going to happen."

Dino's frown only deepened, "the fuck that supposed to mean?"

Letting out an exaggerated sigh, Dana turned back to the mirror, "Dinoo...please just let me go on the date with this guy first. We'll worry about the other stuff later." She smoothed her hand over her hair and proceeded to reach for the gel under the cabinet.

"Besides, I hardly know the guy." She took a toothbrush and smoothed it over her edges gently.

Dino's eyes widened, "exactly what the fuck I been saying! You don't even know this nigga, and you finna go out with him!"

"I never sai-"

"'Nah! I don't want to hear that! The fuck you tell him? He know you got kids?"

"Of course he does," Dana rolled her eyes. She was starting to regret asking Dino to babysit the kids for her.

She would've been better off asking Keke or Shanteah, least they wouldn't be all up in her business, asking her unnecessary questions.

"He know you got a baby daddy, that won't hesitate to beat the fuck-"

"Dino! Please!" With wide eyes, Dana quickly cut Dino off, and pointed at their now six month old baby girl Diamond, whom he held on his hip.

Dino's eyes followed Dana's finger, down at Diamond, who'd now found an interest in the cross around her father's neck.
