Friday Night
Miami, FL
Dana felt like the Queen of the world, and that engagement ring was her crown. Had someone on the street told her she would be engaged and pregnant at eighteen, she would've laughed in their faces.
She never thought it could be possible, but her life was finally beginning to change for the better.
Her life was coming along great. The next step, for which she was truly excited for, was meeting her baby girl.
That day couldn't get here any faster.
Upon returning to Miami to finish up their new upcoming album, Dino insisted that Luke fly Dana down personally. They'd been apart long enough, and he didn't want to go another minute without being able to at least have her in his presence.
She was all for it at first. She'd never been anywhere outside of Houston, and this mini vacation was something like a breath of fresh air.
To her, any place was better than Sunnyside. This baby had since been slowed her down, so there wasn't much she could do, besides take it all in, on her limo ride down to her hotel room.
Her first day in Miami started off great, that is until she ended up back at the studio with Dino and the rest of the boys.
Everywhere she turned, there was a half naked girl in every corner of the room. Shazam and G.I. both seemed very distracted by the girls.
Dino was the only one, who didn't appear to be affected by all of the ass and breasts hanging out all over the place.
Could be, because his fiancé was literally a few feet away from him. Dana was not at all clueless, while she had no idea what Dino did while she wasn't around, she knew for a fact that he wasn't always working.
He did have undeniable respect for women, but at the end of the day, he was also a man. A young horny man, not to mention he hung around Luke and their producer Stick Burrell.
Those two weren't exactly the best role models, for someone with a mind like Dino's.
Dana had to give it to Dino though. He was being on his best behavior, for now anyway.
Then again, she wouldn't be totally mad at him, had he stepped out on her with one of the women here, they were all so beautiful.
They were the type of women that belonged in a music video, on the cover of some magazine, or maybe even on someone's runway.
Unlike her, she was just fat, pregnant, and bloated. Her face and lips were swollen two times over; she was no supermodel. When it came to these women, Dana was as basic as they came.
Her self-esteem was at an all time low, from staring at these women. One girl passing through, gave Dana a wink and a wave.
Completely shaken up, all Dana could do was wave back. She knew she stuck out like a sore thumb, while everyone else just relaxed and chilled as if this were normal to them.
Dana believed that if she just remained quiet in her little corner, then maybe she wouldn't cause any attention to herself.
She definitely didn't belong here, but she didn't want to risk looking like a fool and make it obvious.
She remained silent, but her facial expressions said a lot, about what was really going on in her mind.
For a girl who was raised in the hood, some would think she'd be used to seeing things like this. But Dana was nothing like the girls in her neighborhood, she was definitely green to the game.
