Friday Night
Houston, TX

"Ladies and gentlemen! Presentiiiiiiingg! H-Town girlssss!" Kayla held both of her hands out like an announcer at a talent show, towards her empty hallway.

Soon, Shanteah and Dana appeared hips whirling and hands in the air. Dana's stomach stuck out to no end, time was winding down, the baby could come at any day now.

The starting drums to H-Town's very own new hit single Knockin' Da Boots, which was released on the thirteenth of April, dropped and both girls went crazy.

Soon as the song hit the charts, it blew everyone else out of the water. At first, Dana wasn't sure how to feel about the song, considering the story told of a young man getting busy with his girl.

Dana couldn't help, but feel as if she were somehow an inspiration for the song. Who knows? One thing's for sure though, there would be a whole lot more babies made in the near future, to this song specifically.

Shanteah was so happy and proud for her friends that she didn't hesitate to run out and buy the CD as soon as it hit the stores.

She played the CD so much, that by the time she reached the school's parking lot, everyone knew who she was, before she even stepped out of the car.

The boys had much support from the people in the city of Houston. They were the first R&B group from the projects, that put Houston on the map.

Ever since the song dropped, there wasn't a single person around the neighborhood that didn't know them or at least heard of them.

Shanteah felt it the most while in school, everywhere she turned somebody, mainly girls, had Dino or Shazam's name in their mouths.

Their popularity level had risen three times over, and they weren't even in school anymore.

It was a good thing that Dana pulled out of school when she did, or else she would've felt it too.

"Some body rockin', knockin the boots."

Kayla and Terrika were both in tears from laughing at the two girls, as they maneuvered around the living room in their own little dance number.

Dana sung Dino's part word for word, as if the song hadn't come out less than a month ago. She herself couldn't keep from laughing, at which whenever the chorus came on she rubbed her stomach in circles repeatedly.

They were having way too much fun so to speak, that by the end of the night they'd put on an entire concert.

Because Dana wasn't able to have a baby shower due to financial problems and bad timing, Kayla thought it to be a good idea to scoop all of the girls up and bring them back to her house for a girls night in.

This was the first Dana had stepped foot out of Carolyn's apartment in weeks, and although she was leaving one house for another, it felt great just to get away from it all.

This night turned out to be a lot better than she'd anticipated, and she had to thank her big sister for this one.

The night was brought on with unhealthy gossip about the men in their lives, or none in Shanteah's case; she being the only single one in the group, binge watching their all time favorite movies, and eating every piece of junk food known to man.
