*April 1999*
"It's a boy!"
"Oh my God! Really?! How's she doing? Is she okay?"
"She's alright, she just fell asleep though. The babies done wore her out."
Dana smiled from ear to ear upon hearing the news about her nephews birth. After being in labor for over ten hours, De'Sean and De'Marcus De'Grate made their grand entrance on April 16, 1999, at approximately 2 p.m.
Devante and Kayla were both excited about being new parents, especially now that Devante had kids of his own. Corey was just happy about not being an only child anymore, to their surprise he'd taken on the role of big brother a lot better than they'd expected.
"Aww okay, well when she wakes up let her know that I'm praying for her and the babies, and I love her very much, and that I also can't wait to see my handsome nephews." Dana cooed over the phone.
"Aight D, I will, talk to you later."
"Okay, congrats big bro."
"Thanks lil sis."
Dana placed her house phone on the hook, and looked over at her son, who played with his toys, as they both waited for Dae'sha to finish dressing herself.
She was a lot more independent nowadays, regardless of her age. She never liked Dino or Dana to assist her with anything, because she believed she could do them on her own, including picking out her own school clothes.
Good thing about that is, Dana made sure to check out whatever it is she pulled out of her drawers, before she had a chance to put them on.
Dana crossed her legs, and smiled at Devin, "I remember when you and your sister were just tiny little babies, y'all was just so cute and innocent." She said softly, as she ran her hand across Devin's head.
"I don't know what happened. You starting to act more and more like your daddy everyday." She sighed.
"Mommy, can I wear my princess dress, daddy bought for me?!" Dae'sha suddenly called from her bedroom.
Dana sat back, her eyes dancing around the room, as she pondered that question.
That was not the outfit, they agreed on her to wear.
"No!" Dana shot off of the couch and ran straight for Dae'sha's room.

Dino flopped down on the couch of the recording studio, he, Shazam, and G.I. had been holed up in, all morning.
He'd just gotten through laying down a few vocals, for this new track they were working on, when suddenly the phone began to ring.
He took the cigarette he had tucked behind his ear and placed it to his lips, before lighting a match to it. He took one long pull and allowed the smoke to escape through his nose.
"Hello?"
"Dino, my man, how are you this morning?" Sal Licata's buttery tone already didn't sit well with Dino, and they hadn't been on the phone for more than a few seconds.
He took another pull of the cigarette, and shrugged his shoulders, "shit, chilling." He lied back, propping his foot up on the couch, while resting his hand atop his forehead.
"What's up?"
"I was calling to see if that offer, we discussed was still on the tab-"
"Offer? What offer?" He asked a little bit louder this time, gaining the attention of both Shazam and G.I.
