Ben's point of view

I drive us back from the estate agents our offer accepted due to the fact id already placed it with the owner last week, I knew when I saw it that it was right for us and it was just a matter of persuading Lisa to go with me on it, but her face had said it all, the relief in her eyes as she felt another wall crumble beneath her. The work was going to be hard, but I would put in every hour god sent to build this for my family. Dad said he would stay on and help me, his only work in France was the little business he had restoring old boats and yachts before selling them at the harbour in Nice, a hobby more than anything as he lived on his army pension and the proceeds of the boats. Gran of course had to be in on the operation so she would ask Aunty May and Uncle Dave's Son Roy Dads cousin to take care of the farm while she was with us popping back now and again just to check on him because no man could be completely trusted of course.

Lisa seemed so excited her face just beamed, she was looking forward to our holiday too, Ellie would turn two while we were at Disneyland what a present for our little Princess. "So what time are you two going out tonight then lovey" Gran asks

"Probably about four Gran so are you OK to put the kids to bed?" I ask her Lisa looking at me curious

"Yes no problem darling" she says she's a good one.

"Where is it that we are going?" Lisa asks with that glint in her eyes

"Like I told you earlier darling we are just going to go for a little drive" I tell her running my hand up her thigh feeling her shudder against me.

"I'm not sure I can stand anymore secrets Ben" she says to me

"You'll like this one" I whisper to her, her blush rising again it still astounds me how she falls apart at the thought of us together.

It's nearly time for me to get back for my afternoon class. I drive into central London and head for the Imperial war museum they have a special exhibition on commemorating the centenary of the start of the First World War and I've got tickets for Dad and Gran "What's this for lad" dad asks "

It's a thank you Dad for you know everything" he hugs me his way of thanking me

"You don't need to thank us you silly boy" Gran says almost in tears

"Yeah I do you Gran you've looked after Lisa and the kids when I couldn't so that's more than enough" she pinches my cheek as she does and they head in. I chase after them

"Dad, here take this take the kids out for their tea after school today" I say handing over some money for him but he won't take it

"This is enough lad really we will gets the kids their supper" he winks at me

"You will probably be gone by the time we get back" he says letting me know they will let us have time together

"Where are you going lovey" Gran asks "

"Just spending some time with my girl Gran" I tell her.

I turn back to the car and Lisa is sat in the front seat singing along to the radio making me laugh. I jump in causing her to jump not realizing I was there. "Right sweetheart lets get you home" I say to her. We arrive back at the flat as I walk her to the door "I will pick you up at four O clock sweetheart but I will send you instructions before that" she looks at me "our game is not finished yet my darling If you'd still like to play?" I tease her I watch as her eyes widen and he breathing accelerates

"Yes I would" she says very shyly touching her nose as she answers me.

"See you later" she says as she steps in the lift I plant a quick kiss on her forehead as the door closes and I head off back to college my mind racing, my heart worse.
