Selena's POV:

"OUCH!" I screamed. "Sh." said Renee. "Geez. I only plucked your eyebrows." she said. "And it hurt." I grumbled. "Why are we even going through all this?" I asked. "It's your first high school party, you have to look good." answered Marie. I had called the two of them up and told them about the party. Wrong move. They insisted on coming over and doing my make-up and everything. Now I'm stuck in my room at 10pm with my two best friends who are forcefully trying to make me pretty. Just great. They wouldn't listen to my protests as they plucked my eyebrows, leaving them in a perfect arch. A small amount of light pink blush was added to my cheeks and my eyes were started. There was no eye shadow, just a few strokes of mascara and eye-liner to give a smoky effect. Finally, I was forced into a tight black dress that hugged my curves in all the right places. I was made to wear huge high heels. I opened my eyes and stared at the mirror. The girl in the mirror, she was so beautiful. I could hardly believe she was me. Emotions swelled in my chest and it was all I could do to not breakdown in gratitude. I looked at my two best friends who were staring at me anxiously. "Do you like it?" Marie asked, biting her lip nervously. "I love it!" I squealed. I gave them both a huge hug. "We're glad." Renee smiled. Just then I heard the roar of an engine. Justin. I looked questioningly at my friends and they gave me a nod of approval. "Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair." I heard a voice say from down my window. I leaned out and saw Justin smirking next to the tree. "Shut up, you idiot!" I hissed. "You'll wake up my parents." I said. "Well you gotta hurry up a bit then!" he said. "How do I get down? I can't walk through the front door!" I questioned. "Just put your foot on the tree and climb down." I shook my head. No." I answered. "Why not?" he asked. "Because I don't know how." "Just try. I'll catch you if you fall." I snorted. "Just trust me, OJ Girl." I sighed. I guess this was the only solution but it doesn't mean I have to like it. I put a wary foot on the hold of the tree and began to climb down. Don't look down. Don't look down. Don't look down. I felt the ground beneath my feet and sighed with relief. "I knew you could do it." I turned to see Justin smiling at me. Yes not smirking, actually smiling. I returned it, it's not every day you see the Justin Bieber smiling at you. He gestured for me to come out into the light and taking a deep breath I did. His expression was priceless. His eyes widened like he couldn't believe it was me and his jaw dropped so far I thought it was going to hit the floor. He studied me with such intense eyes I suddenly began to feel self-conscious. Did the dress look to slutty? Was it too short? "Close your mouth, you'll attract flies." I teased. He awkwardly cleared his throat and I could see a slight pink tinge grace his cheeks. Oh my god, he was blushing! He looked so adorable I had to pinch his cheeks. "Aw!" I cooed. "You're blushing." I exclaimed. "Am not." He stammered. "You totally are." I teased. "Whatever. Let's just go." I grinned as he turned around and walked towards his awesome bike. I followed eagerly but before I got on, I hesitated. What if my dress flew up when I sat on it? What if it looked too short? Justin must have seen my worry because he rolled his eyes. "Relax, OJ Girl. Nothing's going to happen." I let my moment of self-doubt fade and I climbed on his bike. I wrapped my arms around his waist and laid my head on his back. His hard toned back. Did I just think that? Ew, no. "Getting comfy are we?" He asked. And he's back. "No." I said. "It's ok if you are." he teased. "I'm not." I repeated. "It's ok-" he started. "Just drive." I cut him off. He chuckled and started the bike. It roared to life. The sound was so cool and so incredibly awesome. I could ride it all day. I held on tightly and enjoyed the ride as we sped away along the still streets. "Oh my God." Were the first words out of my mouth when we reached the party. The house was huge. It was surrounded by crowds of drunk, hormonal teenagers. Bottles of alcohol scattered all over the grass. I started backing away. "You know what? I'm not feeling so good. I'll just go home." I told Justin. "What? Hell no. You're coming." And before I could make a move to protest, he dragged me across the grass and into the party. Great. He pulled me a long to where a mini bar was set up in the kitchen. He looked at me. "What do you want?" He asked. "I don't drink." I replied. "Oh come on, Sel. Lighten up a bit." he said. "I don't drink." I repeated stubbornly. He sighed and shook his head, muttering about how serious I was. Well can you blame me? Alcohol is responsible for a lot of deaths. He turned to the bartender. "One vodka and a bottle of water." he said. "Sure thing." The bartender replied. He pulled one bottle off the counter and poured a glass. He also took out a plain Evian bottle and poured it in another. He handed me that one and gave the other to Justin. I turned towards Justin. "So, what do you do at parties?" He opened his mouth to reply when someone else beat him to it. "You hang out with your bestest friends in the whole world, of course." I turned to see both Renee and Marie grinning at me. I flew at them and gave them both a huge hug. "What're you guys doing here?" I asked after pulling away. "We're not going to miss our bestie's first real party!" Marie squealed. "You've grown up so fast." Renee said, feigning tears. "Shut up." I laughed. "So come on, what do you want to do?" Marie asked. "I dunno. I've never been to a party before, remember?" I shrugged. "We have to dance. Come on." Renee gushed. "Do we have to? I mean, you know I can-" But I was already being pulled towards the dance floor. Or what I think was the dance floor. I heard Maps by Maroon 5 playing and I involuntarily swayed my hips to the beat of the music. Me, Renee and Marie danced for quite a while before we heard a deep voice speak. "May I cut in?" I turned to see the guy who stood behind me in the line the day I spilled juice on Justin. What was his name? Oh yeah! Austin. "Sure." Marie answered for me. She and Renee walked away but only after shooting me suggestive looks. I rolled my eyes before turning back to Austin. "So, Selena right?" Austin asked. "That's my name but you can call me Sel." He laughed. "Sure, Sel." It was my turn to laugh. "If you don't mind me asking, why are you here? I mean, it's not a bad thing but it doesn't seem like your scene. No offence." he said. "It's okay, you're right. This is actually my first party. Justin and my friends pushed me to go." I explained. "Justin?" he asked. Yeah." I replied. "You know that guy?" he asked. "Well, I guess we're sort of friends now." I hesitated. "Just friends?" he questioned. "Just friends." I answered. "Are you sure? Because as far as I know, no girl has ever been 'just friends' with Justin Bieber." he exclaimed. "I'm sure." I confidently reply. "Good." He looked relieved. "Why?" I asked, curiously. "I was just thinking-" he started, but got cut off. "I was just thinking that you should go now." I heard a deep voice say from behind me. Justin. I turned around and beamed at him. "Hey." I said, smiling. "What are you doing with him?" he asked, referring to Austin. "Oh, Justin this is Austin. Austin this is Justin." Austin held his hand out for a handshake but Justin didn't even glance at it. Austin awkwardly dropped his hand. I stared at Justin with a mixture of surprise and disappointment. "We have to go." Justin stated. "But why?" I frowned. "We were just having fun." I said. "If I drop you off any later, your parents might wake up." he said. "Your parents don't know your here?" Austin interjected. "Um.. no." I shyly said. "Wow, that's pretty badass." I blushed. "Thanks." I said, blushing. "Oh and by the way. Before you go, here's my number. Give me a call sometime." he said, smiling. "Sure thing." I said. "See you around, Sel." He sauntered off in the other direction, leaving me with Justin. "Are you ready yet? Or do you need to get some other guy to flirt with?" he said, annoyinly. "I wasn't flirting." I protested. "Yes, you were." he replied. "No, I wasn't." I said, defensively. "He gave you his number." Justin said. "So?'' I said. "That means that you flirted with him." I rolled my eyes. "I was not flirting with him and he wasn't flirting with me." I exclaimed. "You're right, someone like you couldn't induce anyone to flirt with you." I was taken aback. Wasn't he supposed to be my friend or something? And what did he mean by 'someone like me'? I knew I wasn't the most intoxicating person in the world but he didn't have to push it in my face. "Fine then. I'll just leave since you don't want someone like me hanging around you." I snapped. "Wait, Sel. I didn't mean-" he started. Save it, Justin." I shut him down. With that I walked away, leaving Justin to be swallowed up by a sea of people. I couldn't stand being there any longer. I couldn't see anymore people. I asked Renee to take me home. She saw the expression on my face and agreed, not asking any questions. The ride home was silent and neither Renee or Marie pushed me to say anything. They both knew that I was going to tell them tomorrow anyway. I got to my house and tip-toed to my room as quietly as I could. Before I went to sleep, I had one last look at my bucket list.

MY BUCKET LIST
1. Dye the ends of my hair and a lock or two, blue.
2. Hire agents and tell them to follow each other.
3. Pull a high school prank.
4. Learn how to drive a motorcycle.
5. Go to a real, wild party. (With Justin, Renee and Marie)
6. Throw a party while my parents are away.
7. Go laser-tagging.
8. Cover someone's car in posters.
9. Make volcanoes in a store.
10. Ditch school for a day.
11. Pour a drink over someone's head.

I still thought that the ending of tonight wasn't exactly ideal. I mean, who was Justin to accuse me of flirting? He was the manwhore. But aside from that, I was happy. 3 things down, 19 to go.
