This was a secret she planned on taking to her grave, no one needs to know, not even her husband.
But this sudden talk about her being pregnant, made her instantly regret ever taking that ride down to the clinic.
This decision was to follow her for the rest of her life.
"Fix your face then."
Dana pursed her lips tightly together and turned her head away from Dino. She did not want him to see the guilt in her eyes.
Dino smiled and pulled her chin towards him so she could face him, "gimme kiss," he pressed his lips onto Dana's and for a second she did nothing. She was trying her hardest not to cry.
Dino was more than determined to make her smile so while kissing on her face and neck, he tickled her sides.
Dana squealed and pushed his hands away, "Dino stop!" She managed to yell over her laughter.
"Nope, I ain't stopping til you smile for me. You go'n smile for me?"
"Yess I will! Now stop tickling me."
Dino stared at Dana with such wonderment in his eyes and kissed her lips again, "I love you."
Dana placed both of her hands on the sides of Dino's face and kissed him back, "I love you too."
Dino bit at his bottom lip and eyed Dana sexily, "now get out, before I fuck you right here in this car."
Dana placed her hand to her chest and gasp dramatically, she might've acted surprised, but in reality, she wouldn't mind something like that happening at all.
While rubbing her hand along Dino's arm she smiled, "you got me when we get home daddy?"
If this appointment wasn't so important, Dino would've turned around and went back home right then and there, but instead he just humored her by returning the smile, before climbing out of the car.
He let Dana walk in front of him, so he could hold her from behind.
On their way inside of the building, Dana tried fighting Dino off of her, because he kept nibbling on her ear. She was ticklish as hell and it only made her laugh, "will you stop biting me, you carnivore!"
"You wasn't saying that when I was biting your neck last night."
"I was also halfway asleep," Dana argued.
Walking inside of the barbershop was a bittersweet moment for her, as she seen a medium sized poster taped on the inside of the door, on the poster was a picture of Bradlee and the words "STOP THE VIOLENCE" were written in all capitalized letters.
A few weeks after Bradlee was buried, the residents of Sunnyside came together to start a peaceful rally in the streets against gun violence. Though Bradlee's killing had nothing to do with the usual fatalities in the hood, he was still a victim, and deserved to be recognized.
Craig and Tiffany were 100% supportive. While they weren't able to take to the streets like everyone else, they did as much as they could by passing out flyers to all of their clients that would come in for their appointments.
Craig and Tiffany's shop had a massive clientele, and they were a huge contribution to the rally's success.
"Well, if it isn't my two favorite people."
"What's up Craig mane," Dino greeted as he waved at everyone else in the shop. He was holding Dana by her waist, who hadn't stopped staring at him since they walked through the door.
Her daze was broken when he leaned down to peck her on the lips.
"Hey Craig!" She turned her body around, and smiled and waved at him.
