[You sell your soul to a powerful demon, so you can have someone by your side, but when the day comes and the contract ends, what will become of you?]

Life seemed to have the pleasure in giving you all the misery in the world. You had no ties with your family, no friends and a sheer bad luck in everything.

Not to be mislead, or anything, you liked to be alone sometimes, but you hated being lonely. It wasn't long before the solitude drove you a little mad, so much that you even resorted to dark deeds. Summoning a demon and signing a contract may be too risque, but you had nothing to lose anyways.

You didn't want a lover or anything. You just wanted someone who'll stay by your side and actually acknowledge you.

When you told Francois about your wishes, it shocked him, to say the least. It wasn't everyday to witness someone who's willing to sell their soul for company and belonging, but he was too lazy and famished to be picky. He agrees to the contract and seals it with a kiss. (I mean come on, he's a demon)

You wanted company?

Francois did all of that perfectly and darkness became your friend.

Eventually, the final day came where you felt contented and happy for once in your life. You were true to the contract and kept to your side of the bargain. You gave him a bittersweet smile as the both of you sat together in the park.

"I'm ready," your words were barely audible, but the demon still heard. He suddenly felt the impossible; he sensed drumming against his ribcages, as if he felt anxious. Francois slowly looks into your eyes to confirm your statement, but there was no sign of hesitance or fear. You told the truth, but something held him back.

"No," his outburst surprises you.

It suddenly feels wrong for him to take you away. Rage erupted within him as he curses the damned contract coaxing him to collect what he must and leave. He just couldn't and Satan knows it was a deep offence to the rules of demons and Hell.

Whatever he felt towards you, it made him feel human, and it was dangerous for it to be this way. He needed a quick solution, one where he'll a have you and his existence safe and secure. And so, he makes it.

"Let's make another contract," he suggests, "one that'll last forever..."

Will you agree?

[In a world where humans know the existence of angels and demons, it's hard to lay low from the heated eyes of hunters, but then this little fucker decides to mess with you and point them your way]

The pungent smell of the city lingers in the air as you kept your head low in the midst of walking in the buzzing streets. You tugged on the fabric of your jacket instinctively as you thought about your wings. Though they were concealed by magic, you feared that some hunters may use one of their own tools and weapons to rip them from you, should you run into one by chance.

You didn't understand why God allowed angels, demons and humans to exist together with the knowledge of one another's presence. The humans began these accusations on angels and demons; how they should have no right to walk amongst mankind. Their protests were pathetic at first, but then they grew in number and began a sick game of hunting angels and demons for their wings. It was a constant war that many of your brothers and sisters lost.
