Previously on PJD:

"I'll never lose you again Princessa," Chase promises. I smile and he takes my hand and helps me off the bed. And that's when I realize how different I feel. Renewed almost, like all the past strength I had used up before is replaced. I stretch out my legs and arms.

"Is something wrong?" Chase asks.

"No, just...I think I just died and came back to life, but...I came back to life a new person," I try to explain. Everyone around us laughs.

"Because you just did," Percy says. And then Thalia has a slightly panicked look on her face.

"Guys, where's Nico?"

Nico's POV

*an hour earlier*

I sprint out and away of the huge building we were kept in, unsure of where to go, but only knowing that we hadn't gotten Will. And I'm not about to let the love of my life slip right through my fingers.

I sprint into a small shack about a mile away from the building and see a big machine. One of those huge flying things, not a helicopter but almost. I jump in and look at all the controls, having no idea what to do. Then I hear footsteps.

"Peter! Where are you?" The voice yells. I panic and slam a random button. Something that looks like a control to make it go upward, maybe because it has a huge up arrow on it...

"Peter! Is that you or an intruder! Peter Johnson I swear-" the voice is cut off as I take a steering wheel shaped thing and thrust it in front of me.

I go flying right through the roof and away, towards what looks like the fence. I go forward until I hear a beeping noise. I look down and as I do my hand slips off the steering wheel and I start to plummet downwards. I see the ground rushing towards me through the window as I fumble for the controls. I squeeze my eyes shut and attempt to thrust the steering wheel forward again, but bracing myself for impact.

And that's how I died.

Just kidding.

I open one eye and see that I am on course again. I breathe a sigh of relief and keep heading for the fence. I decide to try to fly above it, so I slowly push the steering wheel thing upwards slowly. It works and I smile to myself. I fly and see Amity below. I slowly being the handle downwards and hear the shouts and screams of surprise as the Amity flee. Then as I am almost landed I see Will staring straight at the window, where I am. Our eyes meet and he grins, running towards me. I grin and land, and Will is there in a instant.

"Nico I thought you were dead or gone or ohmygods I was so worried for you you little shit-" Will starts, but I just roll my eyes and brilliantly hide my smile.

"Shut up, Solace-" I start, but he cuts me off, slamming his lips onto mine. I widen my eyes in surprise then close them, sighing. I pull away after a good ten seconds.

"Cmon, we gotta get outta here," I say, ignoring Wills questioning face and pulling him into the passenger seat. I hear a couple gunshots and one comes through the side window, shattering it. I ignore it and we take off, soaring back towards the building.

"Nico, when did you learn to drive this?" Will asks concerned. I chuckle silently.

"About ten minutes ago," I respond. Will just laughs and I look at him strangely.

"I'm just happy to be with you. My dad told me about an uprising with dauntless and the factionless, and he...the Amity were going to use me as bait to lure you and dauntless to me. So I just...wanted to leave as soon as possible," he says quietly. My hands slip off the steering wheel for a millisecond and we drop quickly, almost causing my stomach to leap out my throat. I grab hold again and see the building approaching quickly.

"I love you Nico, you know that? And we're gonna be perfectly fine," Will says, grabbing my arm. I feel his eyes on me and I can feel the blush creeping into my cheeks. For a second our eyes meet and then Will yells something. But it's is cut off.

Cut off as we crash into the side of the big building.

Sorry I haven't updated in so long, but I've been so busy with summer stuff! I'll try to update more frequently from now on.
