An Unknown Encounter

I arrived at the front gate to the prestiogous Beacon Academy I had heard so much about. And so far everything I heard was true from the vast diversity of the students to the experience of the teachers. Even the headmaster Ozpin is exactly the same as people told me.

"Good morning (Y/n) I am glad you accepted our invitation for the program." He said as I struggled to understand his language.

When the letter was sent to my small town two continents over no one but a few people understood the language. When I saw my name I knew it was for me but I didn't know what the rest of the words were. So I asked one of the people that knew the langauge to translate it for me. When they told me what the letter said I was over joyed to say the least but being here alone in an unknown world with no knowledge of the langauge. I was scared more then anything in all honesty.

"Oh I forgot you don't know our language so I studied your language a bit." He said before starting to speak my language.

"Som študovať jazyk trochu."

"Oh? Môj jazyk študoval len pre mňa? Som poctený, riaditeľ školy." I responded expressing how honored I was to have my headmaster study my language just for me.

After a few minutes of conversation he explained to me in fragmented sentences which was understable with a week or two of studying. Who I was housing and what my classes were and where I was gonna be staying during the period of time the letter told me about.

I waved him off before heading inside the gates and towards the area where he told me I would find my new housemates. I was in complete awe looking around walking pass many students some faunus others purebloods. I was just caught off guard by how many different types of people I was seeing.

I saw guys and girls of all varieties. Shy, outgoing, funny, lonely, or at least thats' what I can tell from the reactions all the people were having. I was so distracted I bumped into someone as we both fell back. I quickly got up dusting myself off stretching my hand out to him.

"I sorry." Was what I managed to prounce properly with my few days of teaching along with other words.

"You fucking idiot I don't the help of some loser like you who can't speak." The boy said with his burnt orange hair as he smacked my hand away standing up.

I watched as he got up and grabbed me by my collar lifting me off the ground. I just stared at his indigo eyes swallowing in fear as he chuckled. More boys gathered around as I looked to them for help but it seemed as if they were friends of his.

"Listen here fresh meat I am the top dog around here now you will listen to what I say got it?" He shouted in my ear as I flinched trying to pick up words I knew.

".......No?"

"Did you just say no you dipshit? Well boys we got to teach him a lesson." He said as I realized I made a huge mistake coming here with three days of lessons and all of them were not helping right now.

They dragged me around the perimeter of the academy as I only shuddered to think what they were gonna do. I just looked all around for someone to help me or get a teacher. Then I spotted a female rabbit faunus she was watching this. I mouthed help as she just looked at me then ran away. I just sighed before feeling all the wind leave my body as a fist collided with my throat. I was dropped as I fell to my knees gagging and gasping for air.

It only got worse and worse as time went on from constant kicks and punches to throat shots. I was struggling to stay conscious. I hoped someone would help me right now and it seemed like I wouldn't be saved.

"Cardin are you picking on a student again?"

Or so I thought I wouln't be saved.

"Y-Yatsuhashi..." Was I all heard before the sounds of people running away and towards me.
