I will always love you chapter: 80 Michael POV
My mouth went dry. I swallowed hard trying to find my voice. She shifted her weight to her back leg, and I could tell that she was growing impatient. As I was gathering my courage, she was opening her mouth to speak. So I just blurted out,
"I'm sorry." She looked at me suspiciously and asked,
"For what?"
"I haven't been very considerate lately, and I deserved for you to yell at me at the studio... I've been stupid about this." I drew in a sharp breath because I knew what I had to say next, and I wasn't sure how she was going to take it.
"I really like you. Not just as a friend, but more than that. You're the most enchanting girl I've ever met, and-" She cut me off and said,
"Really Michael?" with her hands on her hips, and her head cocked to one side. I froze. The silence grew between us as she stared at me, waiting for an answer. A sly smile creeped across her face as her eyes softened. She said,
"I would have said the most exceptional exquisite enchanting girl, but whatever. " She broke out into laughter, and she never looked more beautiful. I relaxed, and began to laugh too. Feeling emboldened, I impulsively cradled the back of her neck and kissed her sweetly, making my intentions clear. I broke the kiss and looked at her - our noses almost touching - willing her to know how much I cared for her.
"I will never do that to you again." I said. She slipped her arms around my waist, and lay her head on my shoulder. I pulled her in tightly, and finally exhaled feeling that all was right in my world.
