Michael POV
I hope what Joseph had to say would be brief, because I had enough embarrassment for the night. We all finished eating and it took all I could muster to not run away from those entertained glances I got from my siblings. I was right that Joe would want to talk because after we cleared the table he came to me and said,
"I will speak with you tomorrow." And with that he left me with the night to myself... or so I thought. Jackie came into my room and plopped himself on my bed.
"What's going on, little bro? Or should I say lover-man!" I rolled my eyes at him and he asked,
"Really, I would like to know?" So I told him about the visit, clearly keeping my feelings out of it. He said
"Sounds like fun. Now, tell me, is she good looking?" To that I tried not to show any emotion, but then Jackie whispered,
"It's alright, I'm already going out with her." I was shocked! My jaw dropped and I said,
"How?! I just met her today, and she invited ME to Her house!" I was flabbergasted.
"Ha Ha!" He said like he found something, "I knew it! She's hot and you like her! But it's okay, don't worry, your secret is safe with me." He winked and then said,
"One word of advice before I leave you to this wonderful night, brush your teeth before you go, and wear deodorant." I chuckled with him and as he waked out he sighed "Ah, just wait 'till Jermaine hears this..." He looked and me and in an instant bolted for the guest bedroom. I tried to catch him without success, because he locked the door. I can't believe he tricked me into telling him.
