I will always love you chapter: 42 Michael POV
"She's got this... this It. This air about her. She can make anybody like her. Ya know what I mean?" He looked at me as if expecting a response.
"Yeah." I agreed.
Nelson rubbed his hands over his face trying to cover his smile.
"She makes me not want to play the 'game' anymore. I- I could fall for her." He tilted his chin and looked at me from the corner of his eyes, and then started to laugh.
"Listen to me! I'm getting soft! This girl will be the end of me!" He started to laugh harder. I chuckled uncomfortably while trying to surpress the desire to push him in front of a bus. I had laser beams pouring from my eyes into the back of his head until he turned to me and said,
"I gotta get going. Don't want my old lady worrying about where I am." I forced a smile and said goodbye. As I walked back home I couldn't help but feel this extreme irritation with Nelson. My thoughts were again interrupted, but this time by shrill screams.
