I will always love you chapter: 53 Michael POV
She finally noticed us and she smiled awkwardly and looked at her parents and then back to us. I knew that we had fooled her too.
"So, what are your names?" She looked like she was trying to suppress a giggle, but she still stood there politely. I spoke this time,
"I'm Michael, and this is Nelson." Her eyes widened in shock. She walked over to me, and closely examined my face and then touched my wig.
"I would have never guessed." She whispered breathlessly. She stepped back and looked at us like we were two of the three stooges and said,
"I don't even want to know..." She went to the kitchen sink to set her plates down, and then turned back around.
"Actually, I do. What the heck are you doing here dressed like that." Nelson and I sighed and looked at each other. I motioned to him,
"Take it away, Nelson!" He gave her a simplified version of our tale, and then excused himself to the restroom. Her parents went down to the basement to make sure that everything was set. It was just me and her left in the kitchen and I was very embarrassed and nervous. She smiled at me and then asked,
"Do you want to take that makeup off? I have some makeup remover."
"Yeah.. I feel like it's going to slide off of my face." She took my hand gently and pulled me out of my chair. I stood and we looked at each other as this indescribable electricity built between us. I could feel myself being drawn to her like a magnet, but I averted my eyes out of embarrassment. Almost immediately, she let go of my hand, and the electricity turned into awkwardness.
"Um... so, follow me. It's upstairs"
"Ok..." I said, but I was thinking 'Oh Gosh! What the heck is my problem!'
