{8} shopping trip

Ariana's POV

Me and Niall walked in silence until we came up to a store.

"Niall I really don't need that much clothes! I just need like an outfit so I can have one to go home in."

"Ariana you aren't going home to that bastard whether you like it or not." I was a little scared of how strong he came off, until I realized, it showed how much he cared about me. I smiled a little. He pulled me inside.

"First, some jeans that fit you."

We went to the jeans section and I found 3 pairs of jeans. Then we went to the tops section, and I found a couple of those. Niall made me get a bathing suit just in case we go to the pool in our building. I'm terribly afraid of water. Ever since what happened to my parents.

We checked out then he said, "How about the apple store now?"

"Niall you aren't buying me a phone."

"But I am." He said pulling me into the apple store.

"Not being cocky or anything, but they pay us way too much and I'm happy to get rid of it. Too much responsibility for us."

I laughed and gave in. He bought me an iPhone and put his own number on speed dial for "emergencies". Otherwise know as when Ariana decides to get kidnapped again.

Let's get lunch before Sarah comes" he said. He was looking straight ahead but I found myself staring at his eyes from the side. They're the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. They were the same colors as my moms.

No, don't cry in front of Niall again.

We walked into a Subway and each got a sandwich and sat down.

"Niall, rich or not I'm not letting you buy anything else for me."

"Just think of it as a birthday present"

"A huge birthday present from a guy I met yesterday." I said.

When we were done, we started walking back. He put pandora on his phone. He was about the skip over Banga Banga by Austin Mahone but I stopped him.

"You never skip over Austin Mahone in front of me Niall. Never." I said seriously, then burst out laughing after he did too.

Niall's POV

So she likes Austin Mahone. Perfect. When we got back inside our flat I told Ariana to watch TV with Louis and Harry while I went to my room.

I shut the door and went through my contacts. I found the name Austin Mahone and called it.

"Hello?" He said.

"Hey, this is Niall I need a backstage ticket."

"I thought you hated my music."

"Well, yeah but it's a girls birthday that I really like and she really likes you so..." I trailed off.

"Sure, I guess you can have one."

"For tomorrow night?" I clarified.

"Sure. I'll put them in your mailbox in the lobby."

"Thanks so much."

"No problem." He hung up.

Austin Mahone isn't my favorite person in the world (at all) but if Ariana likes him then I'll get her tickets.

I went to the lobby later and got the pass for her and found a gift bag and tissue paper to wrap it.

I went back to the flat to see Sarah and Ariana hugging and talking. Sarah is also gorgeous like Ariana and Louis obviously noticed that. He was staring at her from behind the corner and I couldn't help but chuckle. Ariana pulled away from Sarah when she heard me and said, "What're you laughing at?" She asked.

"I think Louis spotted someone he's interested in." I said looking at Sarah start to blush a lot.

"Happy birthday Ariana!" She said changing the subject.

"Thanks" she said smiling.

"Ariana I have a present to give you later." I said.

"Niall that whole shopping spree you took me on was my present."

"Oops." I smiled handing out the bag. "Open it now?" I asked.

She gave me one more glare before taking the small bag and opening it. She let out a gasp and took out the Backstage pass to the Austin Mahone concert tomorrow.

"Oh my god Niall..." She was speechless. I got the reaction I was hoping for.

"Thank you so much!" She hugged me and I felt the sparks again. I looked over her shoulder to see Louis and Sarah talking. I was happy for him since he is going through a tough breakup with Elenour.

When she pulled away I kissed her cheek, I couldn't help myself. She smiled and looked down.

"Aw! Oh my gosh, that is this cutest thing ever!" I heard sarah scream at us. Ariana's cheeks turned a deep shade of red and mine probably did too.

We decided to sit down and watch a horror movie. I was on the couch next to Ariana, Louis was on the other couch next to Sarah, and Harry and Liam were on the other couch. And Zayn was with Perrie somewhere.

"Are you sure you're okay with watching this Ari?" She seemed nervous about the horror movie.

"Yeah it's fine." She gave me a smile but I could've sworn it was fake. I took a handful of popcorn that was on her lap and ate it.

The movie started and right away something popped out and scared Arianna and Sarah. The popcorn bowl flew up in the air as Ariana screamed.

She then put her hands over her mouth at the sight of popcorn all over the place. I couldn't help but laugh. "I'll clean it up later." I whispered in her ear. She smiled at me through the dark.

By the time it was the middle of the movie, Ariana was hiding her face in my chest and I had an arm around her shoulders. I ran my hand through her hair.

I look over at Louis and Sarah to see Louis doing the 'yawn and put your arm over her shoulder casually' move. It was cheesy, but it made sarah blush a lot.

When the movie was over Ariana let out a huge breath and I looked at the clock to see it was 1 am. Sarah said she had to leave and we all said goodbye. We stayed downstairs to watch TV and next thing I know, Ariana is falling asleep right in my arms, for the second time in the past two days.
