"You look nice," Shawn said with a slight smile.

"Uh you look nice too. I guess," I commented. I felt myself start to get dizzy. I silently begged for Veronica to hurry up and look for me.

"You here with anyone?" He asked.

"Veronica. Where is your girlfriend?" I stammered.

"Out socializing. She was showing me off to everyone until I said I needed a refill. On my way over I saw you," Shawn explained.

Come on Veronica. Hurry up and finish with that guy. Figure out he is a federal criminal and get over here.

Actually she still might like him. She says weird people are exciting.

"Oh,"

"Yeah. So how have you been?"

"Fine."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Are you sure?"

No

"Yes."

"Well thats good." "This club is stupid."

"This club is stupid."

"Then lets get away," I whispered into his neck.

"Indeed," He smirked. He grabbed my hand and led me out of the club. We laughed as we ran to his car.

He opened the door and gently pushed me onto the leather backseat. He got on top on me laughing. Our lips locked. Moving in rhythm.

"I love you Y/N," He mumbled.

"I love you too Shawn."

"Lets go home." He muttered with a smile and got into the drivers seat.

"Then why did you come?" I sneered. His jaw fell a little along with his eyes.

I quickly pulled the car to the side of the road.

My breaths hitched. And I leaned my head against the steering wheel.

Desperate.

We were desperate for each other. Every kiss was a plea for it to never end.

Our arms wrapped around each other like we would never touch another thing ever.

Until it did end.

Now I sit here, desperate.

Desperate for that feeling. Except every nonexistent kiss was a plea that it would all come back.

The air against my arms instead of his shirt.

Two broken hearts. One trying to heal from isolation. One trying to heal from the opposite.

I wish I could move on like he can.

But I can't kiss another guy.

"You still love him don't you?" Veronica asked. I jumped. And turned. She was sitting up, kinda. She had her arms clinging to the back of the passenger seat to keep up.

"No," I denied.

"Then why did you want to leave instead of find a guy to dance with?"

"I don't like clubs"

"That is like saying I don't like Teen Wolf!"

"Not Teen Wolf again," I rolles my eyes.

"Whatever. You still love him. But get me home please I have a headache,"

"Good maybe you knocked your brain back in place," I grumbled.

"Heard that!"

"Good your ears are still in tact."

"Heard that too."

...

"Hello?" I asked quickly as I was cooking. It was midnight. But Veronica was hungry and so was I. So I took on the liberty to cook food.

I had my phone sandwiched between my shoulder and head as I shook the eggs on the pan.

"Hey Y-"

He didn't even have to finish my name before I knew who it was.

"What?" I asked, fast and in a strict tone.

"I am kind of on the side of the road. Can you get me?" He pled.

"Why don't you just ask your girlfriend?"

"We broke up."

I almost dropped the pan. I grabbed my phone from my shoulder.

"What?"

"Yeah we uh broke up," he said.

He broke up with her just cause he realized what he lost. Don't go back Y/N.

"Fine. Where are you?"

...

He ran to the car in the rain. His coat over his head as he hurried into the passenger seat.

"You realize that Veronica is very upset she has to cook her own eggs now," I remarked as he panted.

"Thank you Y/N. I forgot how your car looked for a second," He tried to laugh off. I just turned on the radio and started driving.

The ride was all too familiar. Streets I had avoided for a while now raced back into memory. All the late night drives where we wait two lights instead of one, just cause we wanted that extra minute (though now it felt like three million years).

He turned down the radio like he wanted to say something. But I swatted his hand away.

"I like this song," I said.

"I know," He mumbled. I turned it back up.

I turned down his street. Houses. Houses I notice too well.

Then Shawns. I stopped the car.

"Ok we are here," I dismissed.

"Look Y-"

"Don't 'look' me. I gave you a ride. Okay?" I said loudly. "Just. Bye."

"I still love you!" He exclaimed.

"Well I hate you!" I yelled back.

"What?" He asked offended.

"I hate you okay? You broke my heart. I hate you for that," I said softer.

"I'm sorry. What if I try to make you not hate me?" He smiled.

"I don't know."

"Come on let me try please. I miss you," He whispers as he leaned in slightly.

"Maybe. How about if I don't call you when I get home it's a no okay?"

"I will take it!" Shawn yelled. And he exited the vechile. I sighed.

"I'm sorry Shawn," I whispered to myself and drove off.

Shawns POV

It was two hours before I decided to go to sleep.

Three minutes later I got a call.

"Hey Y/N."

"Hi."
