"Will you ever go sky diving with me?"

"One day."

"Do you ever plan on getting married?"

"One day."

"Will you get a dog?"

"One day."

"When will you move out?"

"One day."

"Y/N," He sighed. His voice weakening over the phone.

"Shawn," She repiled. Her voice even. Calm. No emotion taped up to her short responses.

"Will you ever.. Love me?" She already knew the answer. But she bit her lip. Thinking about him. Herself. Her.

"One day."

He exhaled, his voice now strained. Frustrated. With her. No. He could never be mad at her. Mad with her. For her. Mad that he cant have her. She didn't say a single word, not a single sound. She was completely silent. He couldn't even hear her breath. But he knew she was breathing. He knew she was also crying.

"Y/N."

"What," She said quietly. Like it hurt her to talk.

"Why do you keep saying 'One Day'?"

"Be-" She stopped herself. Not wanting to answer to fast. As tears silently rolled down her pale cheeks, she buried her head into her knees. Begging for the pain in her head. The pain in her throat. The pain in her heart. To finally stop. He waited. Patiently. Even though his insides were screaming. His mind was flooding with yelling, questions, emotions. All dealing with the girl he stayed up with to talk to. Losing every minute of sleep. Because, she couldn't sleep. But really.

She was only not sleeping because she was thinking about him. It was funny to her. Him. He made her wide awake. Never wanting to sleep. But. With him. It was like she was asleep. Like it was a dream. He was a dream. Or even, a nightmare. She lived very clear of everything. But with him. It was a haze.

"Y/N."

Y/N. Hearing him say her name. Always snapped her into focus. But also put her more into dreamland. He said it so elegantly. He said it, like she was a fragile piece of glass, in which she was. But no one ever bothered to treat her carefully. To be careful. To mean what they said. No one was like him.

"Shawn." He hated hearing her say his name. But he loved it. He hated it, because it sounded like a scratched record, like she had to force it. But every single word she said, was so angelic, he couldn't even pay attention to her voice cracking.

"You can tell me anything," Shawn said gently. She could feel his encouraging smile through the phone. Even if they both knew he was not happy. But she always made him smile.

"Because-" she breathed, exhaling shakily. "Because I will one day hoepfully do all of these things," She said. He went to speak but she continued. "But. Im too broken to do it today."

"Too broken. To love me," He trailed off.

"Too broken to feel. Or. Too broken to say so."

"We are all a little broken Y/N," He told her. She laughed a little.

"Its who can fixed."

"Could... Someone fix you Y/N?" He asked. She choked a little on her breath.

"I don't know. Maybe," She replied.

"Could I be the one to fix you?" She actually smiled when he told her that. The thing she noticed about him, was that they always made each other smile. Even if they were both broken. They both wanted to fix each other. They both wanted to be fixed when they talked to one another. They both could fix each other.

"One day." She whispered.
