Plane (Part One)

I boarded my plane with ease. On my way to vacation for a few days in Denmark. It is very culturally diverse and I strive for the bright attitude. I went to my seat and sat down after putting my bag in the top compartment. I had no guards, no crazy meet and greets and such, just me. I sighed and opened my laptop. When I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked up to see a beautiful girl standing there.

"Uh hi. I sit in the window. Can you move?" She asked. The sound of her voice made me almost freeze in ice. I stood and let her in quiet clumsily. She laughed under her breath and sat down.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"Y/N. You?" She replied. Oh lord her name was so precious.

"Shawn. Mendes,"

"I have heard of your songs then. On the radio," She smiled. She wasn't like most fans, wanting a picture and such. She was calm and easygoing. I am like in love with this girl already. "You're good,"

"Thank you. Why are you going to Denmark?" I asked.

"Funeral. My mother," She said. Kind of bluntly. I was taken aback. "She never really was in my life. Left me and my dad when I was 10. She never was nice to me before then either,"

"I'm so sorry," I frowned.

"It's okay," She smiled. "Thank you for caring enough to say that,"

"My pleasure,"

Then the flight attendant told UA the safety rules and gave us the okay to lift off. Y/N was shivering in her seat. She held onto the sides for life.

"I'm scared of heights," She said.

"Here look at me okay?" I said.

"Okay," She stared at me like I did to her. Her chest was heaving slightly. Then we started to go. She tapped her foot anxiously.

"Just breathe," I edged. She nodded. Soon enough we were going up.

"Oh my gosh oh my gosh," She grabbed my hands. I laughed. But when her hands left mine, they were cold. "Sorry,"

"You are okay," I smiled. Then we talked about the weirdest things. It was amazing. The flight attendant had to tell us to be quiet. I was having so much fun.
