Cliche but amazing imagine XD

"Let's swim!" My best friend yelled as we entered the ocean. We jumped onto our surfboards and swam out. The sun sprayed onto the scenery making me smile. Today was a perfect 85 and sunny. The wind was good. Not to strong but not quiet. We sat on our surfboards, waiting for a victim. The waves were the prey. We were the hunters. Then we saw one. A wave. It was beauty. A big one.

"Take this one!" I yelled and started to swim. I glanced back and it was making it's way, hurdling towards us. As seconds turned into a hours, the wave approached us. I stood and took the wave. It was in my control. I kept my balance as I rode the wave. I heard my best friend cheer in the background. I felt like I was the king. The wave was the pawn.

But suddenly I became checkmate.

The wave took in a ripping stop and I tumbled. Suddenly I was engulfed into the water. I couldn't see anything. The rush of the wave threw me like a tumbleweed.

I need to get up before I lose oxygen.

I went to swim up when I felt stuck. My surfboard got stuck on a rock in the coral. My first instinct was panic. Shoot! The rest of wave started to diminish but I couldn't see enough to get myself untangled from the rock. My chest started to tighten. My throat was burning. My stomach flipped in agony.

I am going to drown.

And soon after fighting and fighting. The world slipped like n the wave. And I felt myself sink.

Shawn's POV

I sat on the beach, watching the waves as the cool breeze and ocean smell calmed me. That's when a bigger than average wave came along. This girl (who was absolutely beautiful) was on top of it. She was a really good surfer. The best I've seen today. She rode the wave like a bull. She controlled the raging waters below. But then the wave stopped and she was down. My eyes widened slightly. Waiting for her to come back up, I stood. A few what felt like years later I heard a girl scream.

"Help my friend is drowning!" She shrieked. I immediately ran into the water. Diving in when I had the chance. I swam to the direction I saw her. At first it was difficult to see with sand everywhere from the wave but it went away. I could see her.

Laying on the sea floor. I rushed my legs as fast as I could. Her surfboard was stuck under a rock. I quickly when I got there grabbed her ankle wrap and undid it. I hiked the girl off of the sea floor and swam up. Ages went by before I finally reached the top. I brought the girl up to surface. Hoping air would wake her but it didn't. I hurried to the sand. Everyone around us seemed in panic. Especially the girl who screamed.

"Y/N!" She yelled. I set her on the sand. I'm not a lifeguard. I do know CPR though. Some chick at our school taught us the process. I checked her pulse first. I then quickly placed my hands on her chest and pushed down. I then pressed my lips to hers and tried to push air. The process went on for a minute until it seemed all the hope was gone. I tried one last time.

I felt her lips against mine. I lifted quickly and her eyes bulged opened and she sat up, coughing. I heard claps around me.

I just saved someone's life.

And had my first kiss but it doesn't count if she is dead at the time does it.

"Y/N oh my gosh!" Her friend said.

"Are you okay? Do you want water? Are you dizzy?" I asked smoothly. She nodded and coughed again. Someone handed me a full water and I handed it to her. She gulped some of it and sighed.

"Thank you," She locked eyes with mine.

"No worries did you hurt anything? Bang your head?" I asked.

"My ankle," She pointed to the one that was wrapped before. She must of hurt it trying to escape.

"Well here let's get you to the doctor okay?" I stood and helped her up. My arm around her waist and her arm around my neck for support.

"Who are you?" She whispered as I got her to my car with her crazy friend behind us.

"Shawn," I replied and she smiled.

"Nice to meet you," She said with a grin. I laughed.

"Same for you,"
