cute imagine heading your way

"Mommy daddy there is snow!" My little daughter Ava exclaimed as she jumped in front of the window. Me and Shawn walked into the kitchen.

"I guess that means we will have to go play in it," Shawn smiled. Ava cheered and ran to put on her coat and boots. I glanced at Shawn.

"Do I have to go out there?" I asked.

"Well duh we are still kids Y/N,"

"I'm 26 and you're 27 I think we are far from kids," I laughed. He ended up forcing me to put on some gloves and a hat and going outside though. Ava kept making Shawn drag her up our little hill in the backyard and push she down. She screamed in sheer joy and whaled her arms in the air. It was adorable to watch. But that's when it hit me.

No literally Shawn accidentally pushed her in my direction and she ran straight into me.

I went flying.

Not really but I went off the ground.

And into the snow. I shrieked. Ava and Shawn ran to me and Shawn pulled me up. Snow covered my face and clothes. His look of worry was quickly replaced by amusement and he laughed. He basically doubled over. He was laughing so hard Ava joined soon. I rolled my eyes and waited for them to stop.

"Awe babe you know it is funny," He said smiling. He kissed my cheek. Ava made a sound of disgust and we started to Mame a snowman.

"Do you wanna build a snowman?" Ava sang to the Frozen song the whole time we built the thing. It sat cutely staring at me. We didn't have a carrot so we put celery. And we didn't have a top hat so there was baseball cap. But it was adorable. And Ava stared in awe. As Shawn and Ava talked about the snowman I saw it as a good time for revenge. I grabbed snow, molding it into a ball. I closed a eye and aimed for my target. Then I threw it at him.

It hit him in the face. He looked my way. He grabbed one and threw it at me.

"This is war!" He shouted. I went to throw one when he grabbed Ava and ran to the tree. I followed and hit him again. This went on for a while. Until Ava said she was cold. Then we went inside.

"Did you have fun in the snow?" Shawn whispered as we cuddled on the couch. Ava sat on the floor with a blanket and her hot cocoa as she watched intently to The Lion King (my request). I looked up at him and kissed him.

"I did," I smiled. Then I took a sip of my hot cocoa and watched the movie with my family. And it honestly was the most heartwarming thing (even beating the fireplace twelve in front of us)
