Maybe sitting in a Barnes and Noble's Starbucks drinking a frappé and reading The Fault in Our Stars on a Saturday was a slight giveaway that I was single.

I was into my book. As I took a sip of my frozen delight, a man approached me. Though he was a man I didn't all that mind approaching me. He was tall and handsome. He smiles when he realized I caught him.

"Can I take this seat? Since there isn't any?" He asked. I glanced around and laughed.

"There is a free table over there," I pointed.

"Okay there isn't any seats with a pretty girl on the other side. I'm trying to be cheesy okay?" He said. I chuckled.

"Yeah you can sit," He sat in the other seat.

"Isn't there a movie of this book?" He asked.

"It's amazing. But still not as good as the book," I replied, not taking my eyes off of the page.

"Why are you reading?" He asked. Man he likes to ask questions.

"Because I'm in a book store. That's what people in book stores do. Or they desperately try to find a single girl in a book store," I fired.

"Oh so you are single," He smirked. I glared at him. He laughed. His laugh was very you can say loving. "No I was actually in here getting my little sister the book you are reading now. It's the only book of the series she says she doesn't have," He explained. Series. Oh my gosh has he been living under a rock?

"I don't think you mean series. The last of John Green's books is what you are meaning," I corrected.

"So what is this amazing book that's better than the movie about?" He asked.

"A girl with cancer-"

"I'm getting my little sister a cancer book!" He exclaimed.

"Typically yes. But she just has cancer. And she is dying but-"

"Oh great she is dying. My sister is twelve what the heck,"

"Let me explain. She meets another guy who indeed had cancer. And they fall in love and go to Amsterdam and stuff. Then other stuff happens but I tell you that," I said.

"Come on spoil it," He pled.

"Nope. You have to read it," I said.

"You evil-" His phone went off and he picked it up. When he hung up he frowned. "I have to go. I will see you around Book Frappe girl," He said.

"Its Y/N,"

"Okay bye Book Frappe girl," He smiled and left. And after that I just couldn't focus on the ink on the pages.

It was now the next Saturday. And I was doing the exact same thing with a Mocha this time. Sadly I hadn't seen the cute boy. But it's not like I expected I would actually know that guy after that occasion.

Suddenly there is a bang on my table. I look up to see an angry cute guy. I narrow my eyebrows. What?

"Augustus dies!" The boy exclaimed.

"Wait you read the book?" I asked.

"Well yeah Aaliyah told me I had to," I am guessing that is his sister. "But he died?! What happened to a nice love story and freaking Amsterdam," The guy raged. I laughed.

"Welcome to book hell my friend. I am sorry I ate all the cookies,"

We talked more after that. About everything. I figured out his name is Shawn. And he hates tomatoes. I also learned other weird facts.

"We should go out and eat. I'm hungry," He said. I cocked my head to the side.

"Are you asking me out? You could be an Axe murder," I said.

"Come on don't be a Hazel Grace Lancaster and pull that on me. Come on a date with me," He said. I guess I could trust him. At least I know he won't drown me in tomatoes. I have to take risks sometimes.

"Sure," I smiled.
