Chapter 43:

As Anna stood there in shock she couldn't help but loo down and seen her laying down there putting pressure to the wound where the bullet had gone through. Then just like that she ran out of the room and out of the house.

"Please stay with me please I need you look at me no dont close your eyes, Im so sorry about what I said to you, you know I didn't mean what I said." she begged to her best friend as she sat on the floor next to her trying to make her stay awake, she took out her phone and called for help, within minutes she heard footsteps coming up the stairs, they took her to be checked by another paramedic to make sure she was okay, while they attend her friend. After checking her they let her go so she called Lucas.

"Hey is everything okay?" Lucas asked since he seen how late it was and wasnt expecting her to call him at this time. "Lucas there's been an accident it's bad Luke it rally bad can you meet me at Tree Hill Hospital please" Lucas immediately agreed and then they hung up. After the call Lucas called his brother and asked him if he could meet him in the hospital to find out what had happened. With minutes Lucas was walking through the doors of the emergency room of Tree Hill Hospital, "Luke!" he heard his name being called and seen her standing there her hand covered in blood and her shirt too. "What the hell happened" he asked her as he approached her.

She was about to responded when she seen Haley and Nathan walking towards her hand in hand "Oh my god what happened?" Haley asked as she hugged her, Lucas and Nathan gave each other a quick hug before turning their attentions to know what happened. "Anna she had a gun and was threating to kill..." but once again couldn't finish because a doctor came up. "Family of Peyton Sawyer?" he asked looking around the waiting room. "Um her dad is somewhere in Antarctica and we cant get a hold of him but Im her boyfriend please doctor tell us how she is doing?" Lucas asked. The doctor looked at him "Usually Im not suppose to give information to anybody only her family but since her parents aren't here I guess I can make an exception."

"The bullet went through an artery and we had to operate on her before it did any damage but there was problem the bullet is still in her we cant take it out because if we do she can bleed out and she wont make it, we are looking at the best possible solution to extract the bullet but the next 48 hours are crucial for her" the doctor explained. "Can we see her please doc" Brooke begged, he looked at all 4 teenagers and he knew that they were all worried about her, "5 minutes only but 2 at a time" he said before going over to the nurse so she can take them to see Peyton. "You guys go first, well call Skills and Mouth to explain everything" Haley said and Lucas and Brooke nodded their heads before leaving.

The nurse showed them were to go and within minutes they were standing in front of Peyton, Brooke couldn't help but cry seeing Peyton hooked up to all these machines. "P. Sawyer you have to make it through this" Brooke said in between sobs, Lucas went over to sit next to her bed and held on to her hand. He kissed the back of her hand "Peyton please I need you, Brooke needs you, your everything to us you can just leave you have to fight please." he said an couldn't hold back his tears anymore. They remained silent just trying to be strong for her, 5 minutes later the same nurse came back ad said that they had to leave already. Brooke left so she can leave Lucas with Peyton for a minute.

"I love you Peyton Sawyer I have been since the moment I laid eyes on you please come back to me" and then he kissed her on her forehead before leaving. As they walked to the waiting room Haley and Nathan weren't alone anymore "Mom, Keith what are you doing here?" he asked. "Haley told us what happened with Peyton and we couldn't just leave you to deal with this alone son" his mom explained as she went over and hugged him. Haley and Nathan went to see Peyton while the rest stayed in the waiting room, within the next hour Mills, Skills, Fergie, Junk, Julian, Alex, Millie, and Bevin were all around the waiting room worried about Peyton.

"Come on kids you have to get some sleep its not right for all of you guys to be here all night you have to get some rest" Keith told all of the teenagers, "No I cant leave Peyton right now I have to be with her right now" Lucas said. Brooke also nodded in agreement, "I cant leave my best friend neither" Karen stood up "Look you guys there is no point in all of you staying here all of you get some rest and I'll talk to principle Turner to tell him that way you guys wont go to school tomorrow but you do have to get rest and I dont want to hear that you can because you are and when your well rested and have eaten then you guys can come back but not for long because you will have to go to school afterwards"  Karen said.

They didn't try to protest so they all got up and went home, next day Lucas and Brooke were the first ones there and were currently sitting in the waiting room and Lucas had asked her again to explain what had happened so he had just finished telling him when Brooke gasped when she seen who walked in the waiting room, Lucas turned to see and couldn't believe his eyes he got out of his seat and walked over to the entrance "You have some nerve to be here" he said. "Lucas please listen to me I came here to see how your girlfriend is doing? Is there anything I can do to help?" Dan Scott Lucas's biological father asked him. He was about to say something when he seen Larry Sawyer Peyton's father walk in and he looked around and he could see the he had been crying...

KIND OF A SHORT CHAPTER BUT IT WAS PEYTON WHO GOT SHOT.

WILL SHE MAKE IT? WHAT HAPPEND WITH ANNA? WHAT WILL HAPPEND WITH LEYTON?

SO I AM ALMOST FINISH WITH THIS CHAPTER SO FOR THE NEXT FEW CHAPTER WILL BE LONGER HOPEFULLY MORE THAN 2500 WORDS.

I AM GOING TO END IT WITH THE HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION. BUT IM NOT SURE IF I WILL DO A SEQUEL.

I REALLY WANT TO DO ONE BUT SINCE IM SEEING THAT THEIR IS NOT ALOT OF VOTES, COMMENTS, AND VIEWS THEN I WILL JUST BE DONE WITH THIS STORY
