Merciless battle

Argos, the captain of the guard, was with his men looking for the princess and she had already searched every corner of the small palace.

She was returning to the main palace through the gardens.

She was proudly wearing the cloak of the republicans as were her followers.

Zalar arrived at the exit of the palace and entered the garden, because he had seen the captain.

"Ah Zalar... is it done?"

Then she changed her mind, seeing me in a huge mass behind Zalar.

"What is it? Why is he following you? Did he surrender? The orders were clear! Mir is to be eliminated!"

He planted himself in front of me but I stepped out, spreading my wings and taking the opportunity to put on "buffs" like shield, haste, projectile protection and especially "fairness" which increased Zalar's stats, while reducing Argos' increases, in an effort to make the fight fair.

"Argos... you betrayed the empire..."

"Never.. I swore loyalty to the people, not to those tyrants.."

Me: "Your place is with the princess who is now empress!"

"I have no advice to take from an animal!"

"The empire will crush you!!!"

"You think that by increasing your size with your dragon ego you will be able to crush us? The reality is that your head will be put on a plank in the great hall of the republic, among the hunting trophies!"

Sasha: "Mir may be a wyvern, but he's just like us! From the same world! He has never betrayed anyone. He's not like you! You slaughtered the palace guards. They had a family too. Politics has no right to shed blood. Killing the emperor. That's one thing, but not everyone. The servants had nothing to do with it.

The only monster I see is you. Argos! And Mir is not a monster!"

"You've shaken me, but... you see... I belong to the Witch of the West. Is that a price to pay for freedom?"

Me: "You talk about freedom? Where are my parents, my family? They didn't do anything. They were just pure, sentient beings who had just evolved and left the animal world. Set them free and let us be, then we are not interested in power!"

Argos: "To an animal, your words sound like honey and your culture is vast. If you are not invoked then you must be a reincarnate. It is very rare but not impossible. But that doesn't change the fact that we are silk on opposite sides."

"Do you have a family hostage? I would understand."

Argos: "You should sacrifice yourself for them.."

Me: "I will never let a witch, good or bad, harm my family but I have no trust and as your Enchantress knows no mercy, so even if she kills or threatens my family, I will exterminate you, crush your cities and stronghold and make sure the heavenly fire purges all your clique and its hells"
