CHAPTER FIFTY-SEVEN

"Mrs. Suzanne's Birthday"

Yejin is in Incheon International Airport waiting for her flight to Switzerland. She's with Yumi, Mina and CEO Kim. She was seated on chair near at the glass window in One of the coffee shop at the airport. She was trying to call Hyun Bin but he didn't answer it. Yumi and Mina are went to washroom while CEO Kim is busy talking to someone on the phone. Yejin let out a deep sigh while she's texting her boyfriend. 'Yah... Are you still mad? I'm sorry... Promise this will be the last. After this, I will file my leave and I will talk to CEO Kim regarding my condition...' Then she sent it. She recalled their conversation before she fly to Switzerland.

Flashback (1week ago before Yejin's flight)

"Jagiya, what are you doing here?" Yejin said and she was startled when she saw Hyun Bin on the set. She has a TV guesting in a Talk show. She has thirty minutes preparation before the show start. Hyun Bin grab her in her hands, "We need to talk.. " He said in her serious bariton voice. Yumi and Mina are silently observing them. Hyun Bin walks while holding her hand and she follow him. They went to the stair exit and Hyun Bin close the door. Yejin look at him with puzzlement ad trying to read his mind. Hyun Bin avoid her gazed he look at the glass window instead. "What is it? You seem so serious.. " She said softly. She was standing from his behind. Hyun Bin let out a deep sigh before he speak. "Are you really not going to tell me, Yej?" He said. "About what?" Yejin said. She doesn't have a clue on what he's been talking about. Yejin walk to approach him and she stand in front of him. Based on his reaction and to his glared to her, she can tell that its all about to her photoshoot in Switzerland. She bite her lips and look at him. "Bin... Look, I'm sorry.. I didn't intend to hide it from you but..." She said. "But you chose to hide it from me, Yej. You think I wouldn't know it?" He said. "No, it's not like that... I was going to but I didn't know how to tell you. I know you will never allow me to go there because of my pregnancy-" She explained but Hyun Bin interrupt her.  "Exactly, you already know that I will not allowed you to do it, Then why? Why you decide on your own? Yej, I have a rights to allow you or not to go there... I'm the father of your child and it's too risky for the both of you to travel." He said. "Yej, Dr. Han told you to have rest... Is our baby is important to you?" He said. "Ofcourse our baby is important to me, Bin... You don't need to ask me that." She said. "Then why? Why you decide on your own without telling me? Without consulting Dr. Han, if it's safe to you? I couldn't understand, Yej..." He said. "I'm sorry... Tomorrow is my schedule to Dr. Han, I book an appointment to her and I plan to tell you tonight but it's too late, you already knew it." She said. Hyun Bin didn't speak and he try to control his anger. "Bin... Please listen to me... Our baby is important to me... But I couldn't stand to be a burden to Sonwa or to
CEO Kim. I signed the contract before I learned that I'm pregnant and the schedule suddenly move earlier than we expected." She explained. "Ms. Suzanne is a family friend of CEO Kim and she's also my good friend... It's hard for me to reject it. Promise, it will be the last, after this I will take my leave and have some rest until our baby is born." She continued. Hyun Bin look at her, "Yej, it's not being selfish or greedy if you put yourself first rather than what the other may feel. I understand, but I will not going to allow you this time... And please just listen to me." He said. Yejin close her eyes and take a deep breath. "Jagiya please... Can you slide this one? I'll promise I will take good care of myself and our baby while I'm there... Beside it's  only a three days of work and the rest is for vacation. You can come with me too, if you want.. Please, Jagiya?" She said. She couldn't back out because Ms. Suzanne announced in Switzerland that she will go there. "Jagiya..." She said and hold his hand, "please?" She said. Hyun Bin take out a deep sigh. "Halabeoji is right, your so hard headed... Ms. Son." He said. "I will allow you if Dr. Han allowed you to travel. Tell me what time your appointment tomorrow and I will pick you up." He said. "Are you still mad?" She asked and she bite her lower lips. Hyun Bin is still mad but he chose to hide it, "let's go back inside, they're all waiting for you." He said and he walk first before her. Yejin knew that he was still mad and he's all the rights to be mad at her. She knew that it might be risky for her to go there but she also need to do her job as a talent of Sonwa before she take her leave. She didn't want to be a burden to Sonwa especially to the people who worked from it and to CEO Kim.
