Damon was in the now empty Crypt because Kai stole the coffin that contained Elena. He was kneeling over his own dead, grey body "Now this is creepy" He said out loud
"You shouldn't talk to yourself and expect an answer" Cade said appearing at the gates behind him "That way lies madness" He whispered
Damon turned around and looked a Cade while standing up "Oh, speak of the Devil. The Devil. What the hell is going on?"
"Your body's spent. Right now you're in the space between spaces. On Death's literal doorstep. Call it limbo if you must" Cade explained to him
"Well, that makes sense. Kai siphoned me like a juicebox. Why are you here?" He questioned
"I want the ashen dagger. The one weapon that can kill me"
"Well you're out of luck cos I don't have it. And last time I checked I wasn't your errand boy any more. What happens if I refuse to play fetch"
"In layman terms. I drag your soul to Hell" He smiled
"Go for it. I'd rather burn than serve you for another second"
"I believe I have something that will change your mind" Cade said smugly
~~~~ The Armory:
The three siblings were in one of the rooms where Caroline kept all of her wedding items, Lizzie and Josie had their mini dresses on while Alex put on a mini blazer since they were all exited to go to their first proper event, expecially their mom and favourite uncles wedding that they didn't know was sort of cancelled right now
They were all infront of the mirror jumping around and getting along as they were all causing a little mischief together. Chris walked in to see a large mess, boxes, clothes and paper everywhere "How did you-?" Chris looked at the shelf and all the boxes scattered "You know these could've fallen and hurt you. You know if you ripped these dresses your mom, even though she loves you more than anything, would rip you aswell"
Chris walked over to them and began to take off their dresses before they ruined them "Alex take that off. These aren't playtime clothes" Chris finally got the dresses and Alex handed him the small blazer
"We're practicing" Alex told him
"Yeah, for the wedding" Josie said in excitement
Chris sighed "I know your exited for the wedding, and to wear these clothes but things don't always work the way you want"
Lizzie folded her arms with an attitude "Why?"
"Well..." He tried to think of a way to explain to them without upsetting them "...people who love one another don't always get married. But it doesn't mean they don't love eachother"
They all pulled sad faces and looking down. Alex closed his eyes and something exploded behind Chris. He jumped around and saw a box was now on fire, he quickly got a blanket and covered it and the fire went out "Kids, stop, please!"
