The three friends were currently walking through the woods on their way to where they need to go to escape the Prison World "How did I even get roped into doing this?" Chris groaned pulling up the backpack with Gram' Grimoire inside of it "I kept saying no"
"The threat of death, wanting to get home and get away from me" Damon said whistling while swinging about a stick "I don't know, you take your pick"
"You're in a good mood for the first time this decade" Bonnie asked him
"Hey. Stop that!" Chris whined as Damon poked him in the side with the stick he had
Damon answered Bonnies question "I have a hot date with my girl tonight"
"Pfft, assuming Kai's telling the truth, and since he's basically done nothing but lie since before we even knew he was here" Chris reminded them
"I'm thinking dinner and a movie" Damon said ignoring him thinking about his own fantasies "You know what? Screw the dinner and the movie, skip straight to the good part" Damon poked Chris again and he smacked it away annoyingly
"Assuming I can do the spell which Kai refuses to tell us" Chris said
"What ever happened to hope? Remember how I was all like, boo, grr and you two were all. Hooray, hooray! We're getting out of here" He said jumping around waving his stick around in the air
"I want to go home, more than anything but Kai's a sociopath. Who's to say he won't try to screw us over?" Bonnie asked them
"Me. I say" Damon said in a serious tone "Because I will kill Kai and anyone who comes in the way of me going home"
Kai appeared from the trees in front of them "I heard my name. All good, I hope" He looks through the Ascendant he points towards the sky "The eclipse will happen directly overhead. In perfect alignment with the Gemini Constellation" He then pointed at Damon "You need to dig into the tunnels below us. We'll do the spell there" Kai threw a pickaxe onto the ground infront of him

"Why?" Chris asked
Kai gasped sarcastically "Have you never portal jumped through an eclipse before?"
"Don't be condescending, Kai. Just tell us!" Chris demanded an answer
"Okay, look, the light of the eclipse will shine down and activate the Ascendant. You spout a little witchy woo and then-" He gasps "-ahh poof. Anyone standing in the circle of light holding the Ascendant goes home"
"By 'witchy woo' I'm guessing you mean the spell" Kai nods at Chris "Show it me" He demanded
".....when the time comes" He smirked, he then walked past them
