88)Growning Pains

Parker House
3rd Person:

Chris was carrying baby Xander who was crying and wouldn't stop. Chris bounced him up and down in his arms "Please stop. Don't you wanna sleep? Because I do" Chris sighed then decided to bribe the child "If you go to sleep I promise I'll like your name more than Alex"

Kai walked down the stairs with baby Alex in his arms "Come on now, love. You know we love them both equally"

Chris used one of his hands to cover Xanders ear "Don't tell them that. For just these minutes I really mean it. Shh" Kai chuckled "Is Alex not having it?"

"No. I tried to sing to him but apparently he thinks I have a terrible voice. At least we know who I'm gonna have problems with in the future" Kai laughed as he bounced Alex around "Ooo, care to dance" Kai walked closer to Chris as they both bounced the children

"It's like a mini rave" Chris laughed

"Careful boys. I was about to throw down" Kai chuckled

"Kai. Would you mind grabbing their dummies?" Chris asked him

"Of course. My ears are starting to bleed" He exaggerated as they put the kids in the cribs and went to the kitchen

The babies cried louder and Chris groaned "I know parents shouldn't really take shortcuts, but I think this problem calls for one, don't you guys?" They cried louder "I'll take that as a yes. Alright, go to sleep" Chris held his hand above both kids but nothing happened. They kept crying so Chris tried again "Go to sleep" It failed again

The babies then laughed and Chris frowned at them "Well I don't find it very funny. Why won't you do what I want"

Kai then came back in "Look what I got" He then put them in the babies mouths and they stopped being loud "Ooo"

Chris gasped quietly and whispered "Look I think its-" The babies then spat them out at them both "Kai" He hummed in response "What are we doing wrong?"

"Don't worry" Kai kissed Chris on the head "We'll figure it out. Maybe we all just need to get to know one another. Like over a couple of drinks at the grill" Chris smacked Kais arm "I'm kidding...." He laughed then whispered to himself "...now..."

Chris shook his head at him "Maybe we need some help"

Just then the doorbell rang and Klaus came into the house "Hey kids" Klaus walked over to them "I was just on my way to the Grill when I heard your little bundle of joys were on a sleep strike"

Kais eyebrows crossed as he was a little confused "Oh? Who told you that?" Since it just happened and they haven't even been outside yet today

"Er, my ears" Klaus laughed. Chris chuckled along and so did Kai but more less enthusiastic than they were

"Anyway, uncle Klaus is here and I have a few tricks up my sleeve"

"Awe Klaus your a life saver" Chris said

Kai pulled a face at him "Mmm, be careful their only small, make sure you support their heads and be careful of their legs. Actually you know what how about we just don't?" Kai stood in between Klaus and his kids

Klaus then stood there and awkwardly and looked between them "Uh" He then looked at Chris "You want me to redo that?"

Chris looked at Kais confused face "Uh. I'm sorry?" He questioned

"You want me to hold the babies?" Klaus asked "Should we just take this from the top"

Kai chuckled awkwardly "Ha, what?"

Chris laughed along with him "Oh, don't be stupid. Kai maybe we should let Klaus have a go?" He smiled

Klaus then laughed "Alright, let's do this. We dare you to stay awake" Klaus went to the children
