Bihari opens the gate early morning listening to the doorbell, expecting the milkman, but gets shocked seeing Kalindi on the gate instead. He shuts the gate on her face in fear. Kalindi looks at the door amused. She rings the bell again as Bihari runs away from the gate.
Trilochan who comes to the door listening the doorbell looks at Bihari shutting the gate and rushing to him. He asks," Kon aaya hai Bihari itni subah subah?" Bihari says whining," Malik... Wohh pados se!" Trilochan says smiling, "Bahu aayi thi pados se? Toh tumne darwaza kyu band kar diya! Andar bulao usse!"
Bihari says scratching his head," Nahi malik, Bondita malkin nhi, unki Thakumaa aayi hai!" Trilochan widens his eyes and runs to the door to open it, saying to Bihari," Bilkul Pagal ho tum! Kalindi ji ke muh par darwazaa band kar diya!"
He opens the gate and looks at a fuming Kalindi standing there. He gives a nervous chuckle and lets her in. Kalindi says," Aapka ye Bihari mujhse itna darta kyu hai? Maine kya bigada hai iska? Mujhe dekhkar ese bhagta hai jese koi bhoot dekh liya ho!" Trilochan gives a nervous smile and says," Ha woh thoda uska mansik santulan hila hua hai, haina Bihari?" He says glaring at him to which Bihari nods scratching his neck.
Trilochan says to Kalindi," Wese aap yaha itni subah subah?" Kalindi says, "Ha woh mujhe aapse aur Jamai Babu se kuch zaruri baat karni thi! Jamai babu?.." Trilochan says," Ha woh Anirudh taiyaar ho raha hai, Bihari bula layega usse! Jao Bihari!" Bihari runs to call Anirudh.
Trilochan asks," Bahu nhi aai?" Kalindi says," Ha woh bhi aati hi hogi!" Anirudh comes downstairs and takes Trilochan and Kalindi's blessings.
A happy grin takes over his features as he listens to the chiming of Bondita's anklets. Bondita enters the haveli with a small smile. She smiles widely looking at Anirudh smiling at her. Anirudh winks at Bondita, to which her eyes widen in surprise. She looks at other side out of shyness as a blush creeps onto her cheeks. Anirudh chuckles looking at her all shy.
Bondita takes the elder's blessings and sits beside her Thakumaa. Kalindi takes the initiative and says," Hamare ghar par Bondita ki door ki behen ki shadi. Unhone ham sab ko bulaya hai. Par mai aur Rimjhim, ham mere kaam ke karan jaa nhi payenge. Toh mai chahti thi ki Bondita, Jamai Babu, Tapur aur Tupur chale jaaye waha. Agar Jamai Babu ko koi aapatti na ho." She says with a pause, and then looks down," Ha wese maine hi door rehne ko kaha hai Jamai Babu ko Bondita se, par agar ye zaruri nhi hota toh mai aapko pareshaan nhi karti!"
"Nhi nhi Thakumaa, isme koi pareshaani ki baat nhi hai. Mai Bondita ke saath chala jaunga, kyu Bondita?" Says Anirudh happily that he will get the whole time with his wife now. Bondita too nods happily.
Kalindi says," Do raat bhi rukni hogi waha! Aur haa, hamne ek jagah par Tupur ke rishte ki baat chalai thi, baat wese toh pakki hai, par mai chahti thi ki ek baar unse Jamai Babu bhi mil le, dekh parakh le, toh achha hota!" Anirudh nods.
