In an era where worshipping men was all a woman was taught of, Bondita was way ahead of her time. Brought up under her deadbeat , abusive father and narcissistic brother, she grows to loathe men. In her quest of gaining respect and equality, she clashes with Anirudh Roy Choudhary, a London-returned barrister of a liberal mind but conflicted conscience who is snobbish about the uneducated and uncivilized society. With a perception against each other built upon biases but an unsaid turbulent chemistry pulling them close, how will Bondita and Anirudh resolve their personal battle to fight together against the society? Can perceptions be redefined? Set in the backdrop of 1900s British India, let us dip into the saga of courage, love and epiphany.

This is a story based in the 1920's where a 22 year old london return Barrister, Anirudh Roy Choudhary returns back to India to fight for the women rights. And coincidentally, he meets Bondita Das, a 8 year old girl who has a lot of curiosity about the things going around in the society and questions abouth the senseless rituals. They get married in such such circumstances that Aniruddh marries Bondita to save her from being Sati. As years passed, things change. Anirudh has now fallen for Bondita.

A different take on the story of Barrister Babu show. In this story I have taken some assumptions 1- what if Tulsipur Krishnagar issue was sorted in court by Bondita? 2.- what if Bondita had not expressed her feelings to Anirudh while Sanyasini phase? 3.- what if Bondita developing as a Barrister was explored? 4.- what if her life in London was also explored and people and character from there were also a part of her journey? And many more...I shall add as and when required. This will be a post leap story of course. This shall be after Somnath tries to do teesri vidhi of burning tongue of Bondita to make her Sanyasini but she was in time saved by Anirudh. With a slight change that Bondita never told Anirudh that she had feelings for him. But was only approaching him as his confidant, student and friend. My first attempt at writing.
