"You okay in there babe?" My best friend Lily yells from the other side of the apartment.
"Yeah. I just feel like stabbing my eye out with my eyeliner." I say frustrated.
In Case you're wondering, yes, this is what happens every morning.
We're currently getting ready to go to work. We work at a bookstore which is also a cafe, it's pretty cool I guess. I work putting away all the books and organizing them, where Lily takes peoples orders and makes coffees. The job isn't the best paying but as two broke college students tryna make it on their own, we'll take anything we can get.
"Babe does this outfit look okay?" Lily asked, her voice laced with uncertainty.
"You look amazing, you always do. I don't know why you stress so much."
"I just want to look good, what if a cute boy or girl or whoever comes into the shop. I wanna make sure I look good so I can have my y/n moment." Lily says looking up, acting as if she's daydreaming. I let out a little laugh.
"Yeah well let me know how that turns out for ya." I say sarcastically.
Once Lily leaves my room I also get dressed for the day.
