So, everything was foreshadowing afterall.

I can't believe that I thought I wouldn't be able to write angst at the beginning of this story. Firstly, I'd like to say thank you for all of the votes, comments, and overall support I've gotten throughout writing this book, it's truly been a journey. I had thought about leaving this book during its early chapters (I was writing on my phone at the time and it was not fun, but there were obviously other reasons), but I'm glad I didn't. I wrote this story with the main plot being the one-shot I wrote called 'Dress Up' and the only subplots I had were: Chuuya's near death experience with Corruption, Oda's death, Mori's death, and Dazai's death. Oda's death was planned from the start—I wanted to let him live in the middle of it, but there was already too much foreshadowing and I couldn't go back. Plus, it didn't make much sense to keep him in the main story. Dazai's death was planned later on, and writing the last chapter gave me mixed feelings. The thing about this was that I wrote so many specific lines from the very start just because if I needed to, I could pick up from any of those lines and add another subplot. And, something I'd like to clarify, those scenes of Dazai saying, "that wasn't here?" etc, etc, were because I thought it would be interesting if Dazai had somehow gotten ahold of the book. (BSD Beast! Spoilers: similar to how the Dazai in that universe did). The book is almost like a record of the different realities of the bsd universe—which is why there were so many references from the anime, manga, and light novels. Writing [Y/N]'s POV was the most difficult shit in the entire world, which is why there wasn't much dialogue for [Y/N] lol. Dazai's inner thoughts were painfully easy to write (self-projecting is a very interesting thing). I do wish I wrote certain things differently *cough cough* like the first twenty chapters. Also, I promise I didn't forget about the aphrodisiac pills chapter (it'll be a bonus chapter instead), but if I don't publish it in a month, just...yell at me or something. Anyway—

Thank you so much for sticking through this story, the enjoyment of writing this was beyond words. I'll hopefully see you in my next book, 'Before Us'.
