Some victories are merely defeat wearing the wrong clothing

The heavy pelts of rain diminished the land into a wet cloudy place, the sun was far away from the horizon seeming to be asleep. All they could hear was the sharp plunder of the cries from the sky, pouring out its grievances into the land submerging it into nothing but a wet slippery piece of the neighborhood.

No presence could be seen in the murky small town of Wilsbrein, all the humans have taken shelter from their home to avoid the wet misery that the heavens would throw upon them.

Four-legged creatures thought to be mythical and fiction was seen running through the wetlands of Wilsbrein in hurry. They finally reached their destination and with a wisp of smoke, a woman in glamourous red appeared with an irked expression.

"I hate the rain" her words were expressed in distaste as she glared her eyes at the magnificent house that inhabits the witch that made her bloodthirsty.

Her body thrum in excitement, as if the spilling of blood was nothing but a bouquet of roses in her eyes. The snow lashes harboring her steely grey eyes flickered into the door and it bursts with a soft incantation from her.

"Such weak spell" she muttered in mockery before turning her head back. "Come on boys, we have a witch to hunt"

The mythical wolves that followed her growled and soon, their paws lifted themselves on their feet and they soon barraged their way into the mansion.

As to be expected, the mansion was brimming with humans turned to deranged wolves, unfortunate humans that were bitten to act like soldiers but in reality, they were nothing but a piece of meat shield for the real soldiers.

The whole place shook as the wolves attacked the bitten wolves in savagery, blood was like water in a river as it flows endlessly into the once-white smooth floor.  Growls erupted into their mouths as their lunge for every enemy they could take, their beasts on display.

It wasn't their human side that was operating anymore, it was their wolf, the one that hunts and kills for the pack.

"Well, well, well, isn't this a sight to behold?" A voice beguiling them to submit entered their ears but it was only those that we're not blessed by a witch that remained enchanted with it.

They snap the necks, tore off their limbs, and clawed on their skin till death came charging at them, winning the side of the more experienced and pure, untainted beasts.

"Oh, Rosette, it's nice to see you! Oh no, I can see some wrinkles on your face- you should learn to take better care of your skin" her words pierced every maiden's love for beauty which the other witch responded with a smile.

They were having such pleasant conversation in the middle of a battle, a war between beasts that seemed to never affect their eyes with the bloodied and massacre state.

"It was because I was too troubled by an absurd witch that thinks she can fool around just because she has her mommy's back"

It made the other witch aroused her anger and expressed her outrage by summoning a serpent with scaly skin that no armor could penetrate, its long tongue occasionally hissed as it savors the dragon that he was about to ruin. Rosette counter-attacked by summoning a dragon, one that is dark and menacing, a fire-breathing one that no liquid could ever put out.

In just mere seconds the mansion seems to be filled with the stench of blood, broken limbs, and bones were scattered on the floor but the amount of bitten wolves contained, never ceased to begin with.

The battle got more intense the moment the two magical creatures, who were summoned by the witches burned everything but the house still magically stood unhinged by the destruction of two different creatures. Though everything has fallen into ruin, the stairs, the lattice windows, and all furniture have been ravage into their clash.

The witch Rosette was hunting for, Louivia, wasn't a pushover and gathered all her forces to make the woman standing in front of her with a bored expression fall into her hands.

"You think you're puny powers would be able to put out mine?" Her words were venomous, it was like nails being scratched into a blackboard as she continued. "I do not like any more of this- that's it! Off with your head!"

She was a woman who loves beauty and primed herself to be perfect at all times and now that the hem of her clothes got splattered in blood, she flared into wrath.

It was too abrupt for them to know what really happened, the only thing that the wolves managed to see was the head flying off of their enemy's body. It then broke out in fire, blue flames that the dragon she summoned breathed out till it was only asked that was seen.

She gave out a chant, one that they didn't understand until the ashes vanished into thin air. The bitten wolves that seem to cease decrease in numbers till it was all gone, only remnants of their dead bodies remained in the world.

With a few cracks and some bones popping, they transformed into humans, all bare and naked as the wind blew past every crevice of their bodies. It was nothing to them, to remain unclothed but of course, they are living in a small town populated by humans making them repress their animalistic side.

They poured the vial that was concocted by the witch, one that made the pockets of their jeans lose. Every limb, skull, and even the remnants of a brain was wiped out and only the overpowering stench of blood lingers.

"Is she dead now?" Maico asked the fuming Rosette, his voice tense and careful at the furious witch.

"No, it was just part of her soul" her voice was dripping with venom. "But she will be"

She didn't think that a mere ignorant witch like her would be able to fool an experience witch-like hers but she liked the chase. That mouse of hers better hides or else she'll gut her out till she was no more.
