Sometimes the slightest things change the directions of our lives, the merest breath of a circumstance, a random moment that connects like a meteorite striking the earth. Lives have swiveled and changed direction on with the strength of a chance remark.

The puncture mark on her neck made her look in wonder, it was different from Lukka for he was smaller and shallower than hers. He could put a concealer to conceal it but hers would be much harder than that.

She soon felt the tingles that Lukka describes every time she gets closer to him. It was like electric currents that slowly, pleasingly travels to her spine before moving to her head. Her eyes were the same color as the blue bolt like his, she sent off the feeling of wonder that she's currently feeling now.

"It isn't hurting anymore?" His voice slowly rumbles from behind as he slowly grazes her neck, rubbing the mark that he bit onto making her slightly dizzy from what she's feeling.

"It doesn't hurt anymore" she was lucky enough to respond without stumbling on her words.

"Nervous?"

Her eyes flickered into his, something mischievous twinkled inside his monotonous cold eyes and she felt annoyed upon it. He was clearly aware of her feelings but he still asked, hateful!

"No" she diverts her gaze from his forehead, trying to regain the sanity that she still has or what was left of it.

Turns out this is what it feels like to have a mate, to feel complete and fully satiated. She felt like she couldn't ask for more and she has no qualms just staying inside this lovely cabin of theirs for a long time.

"We can now formally introduced our relationship to your parents, right?"

"Should we?" She held a smirk and find him looking at her in helplessness.

"You cold-hearted woman" his words were clearly lecturing her but his voice was full of pampering that she couldn't help but giggle.

It was indeed time for them to be fully present themselves as couples in front of her family after all George robbed her of it the other week.

...

Henry has taken root in our house and although he still leaves to return to his home, he has always been welcomed and treated like a family to us.

Because the two are students of culinary school and are about to graduate, they were the main characters when it comes to dinner and lunch.

"It must be great to have you as a brother Henry, unlike that cruel man there tsk, he's too temperamental. Tell me if he bullies you, I'll deal with him"

Henry gave off a laugh and I was glared at by my brother before he took Henry with him to the kitchen. I didn't enter since I know I would just lose at them at cooking so I sat down and accompanied my dad.

Henry was indeed a great guy, although he's a bit timid and quiet he will give off that pleasant feeling. He was like a refreshing mint, no wonder my hot-tempered brother would fall for him.

"Mom, Dad, I also have something to announce here" Henry was about to leave but I told him to sit down saying he was also part of the family. That made him blush and made the already frowning George soften.

"What is it, honey?" My mother asked but her eyes were gleaming as if she has been left with a secret.

"What is it? Don't make us wait any longer" George broke the atmosphere making me narrow my eyes in hopes that he'll shut his mouth and thankfully he did.

"Well, I and Lukka decided to take our relationship further-"

"You're getting married?!" My mother stood up with a surprised and delighted expression on her face.

"What?!" George looked at me as if I was a ghost with his mouth hanging open. My father looked pale and he couldn't help but cough out loud.

"I'm not getting married!" I quickly explained before my mother and Henry clapped their hands and make my father faint. "I just wanted to tell you that we're now a couple that wants to be accepted by you all. That's it, no marriage involved and definitely no children!"

I way stepped ahead of them and didn't want them to think of anything in my announcement.

"That's it?" You almost sound sad mom. "I approve of him already before and today I have seen him getting better and better to you so yes, I wish you and Lukka all the best",

I hug my mother close to me, the smell of pastries and warm chocolates was still subtlety attached to her. I look to my father and he sighed as if finally admitting defeat before nodding at me. I put my hands on his bulging stomach, teasing him about our new sibling before he patted my hand away from his stomach.

"What? I approve okay, I don't need hits from you" he said almost disgusted by the thought of it.

"Don't worry, I won't do that. Ever"

Then the moment his guard vanished I attack him sneakily and hugged him by his neck making him choke. He slapped my hands and I laugh at him before releasing his neck.

This strength of mine that comes with being a werewolf truly has its advantages, mostly by bullying my brother.

"Selene! Don't you dare run!"

"I'm not stupid!" I run back to the stairs and closed the door before hearing George's angry huff. He was soon abducted by Henry to calm him down which I will remember.

Now that I'm in my bed, alone, and have finally obtained the approval of my parents, I wished to have Lukka with me. It was only just wishful thinking of me and that I laid on my bed, trying to think of happy thoughts and memories.

I was about to be off on my dreamland when I smell the familiar scent from Lukka, just miles away from here and I stood up before opening my window. I jumped down with ease, a crunch of leaf and I was soon as the wind, running past the looming trees that once made me feel scared.

The moon gave light to a man of my dreams, his face was shadowed by the dark yet it could not help the arising of my beating heart as I walk along with the rhythm of my heart while keeping a straight face.

His eyes soften as he looked at me, the once solemn and quiet man in solitude man reach his arms and captured my waist. I look to his eyes, those electrifying blue eyes that I know I would never forget in my life, one that has forever been ingrained in my heart.

"Why are you here?" I breathed out lightly, the quivering of my lashes resembling my heart.

"Because I long for you"

I smiled at him, one that reached up to my eyes and heart as I snake my hands to his neck.

"I love you"

"My heart belongs to you, Selene, I give my life with no regrets to your hand. I love you"

I pressed a deep kiss that was filled with nothing but pure love. He was what let me hold on to my life, the one that I never knew I needed and has changed me from inside and out. He manages to creep up in my heart in the most ridiculous way, to think that a wolf enthusiast would once fall in love with a mythical creature like him was once in a million chance.

And I'm glad fate has given me this chance.
