Miles and I were walking along the sidewalks of Paris. He had his umbrella over our heads. "Want some?" He asked me if I wanted some of his Chinese food. "No, thanks." I started to cry a little. Tristan is my best friend. I can't lose him too! "It's going to be alright, Maya." I shook my head. "How do you know? He might be lost in this big city somewhere!" Miles looked over my shoulder. "Or, he could be right over there." I quickly turn back. There's Tristan staring at a wall. "You were right." I looked at Miles. He really helped me a lot tonight. He had a smile on his face. it wasn't a smug grin, a smirk, or a fake one. It was a real one. And, I kind of liked it. "Thanks." I rushed over to Tris. "Thank god I found you!" He didn't turn to look at me. "I'm sorry, Tris." He turned to look at me finally! "Me too. How did you find me?" I look back at Miles. He looks at us both, and waves. "Miles? He helped you?" I nodded, and smiled. I didn't mean too. It just shinned through. "Yeah, he was a big help actually." He grabbed my shoulder. "Let's promise, to never let a boy come between us." I nodded. I will keep that promise, until I die. We both smiled, and started to laugh.
