Loki// Please Stay

Guy:how else is she different?

Loki: she makes me feel the way Asgardian Ale, and reading does. She's a genius who knows how to get what she wants. I admire that.

Loki is getting better because of me? I don't know whether that makes me happy or sad. I'm glad I'm making him want to be good, but I'm the one pushing him back home.

He walked through the door with a book in hand, sitting on the couch against the wall.

"I'm back." He smiled at me.

"You're gonna read In here?"

"Of course. Why wouldn't I?"

"I just thought with all the time we spend together that you'd want a break from me."

"Your presence is actually comforting. I'll deny it if anyone asks." He smirked at me.

"Are you gonna deny this too?" I held up the paper.

He read it slowly, then looked up at me. I instantly felt the fear he had.

"Don't be scared, Loki. I can assure you, you shouldn't be scared." I took his face in my hands and sat in his lap facing him and hugging him before pulling away.

"I don't want to leave, darling. But my father insists."

"Well, maybe if he knows you're happy here he'll let you stay." I begged, starting to cry.

Thor came into the lab and stopped in his place when he saw the position Loki and I were in. I looked at him with a stained face.

"Brother, I need to speak with you about an urgent matter."

I got off Loki and sat on the couch.

"Come to my room when you're done please."

He nodded quietly and left with Thor.

I went to my room and cried for a bit.

Loki and I have gotten so close in the time he's been here. I can't lose him.

Around midnight, Loki came into my room and I stood up, walking over to him.

"What'd he say?"

"Just stuff about our mom. Nothing to worry about, my love."

I lunged forward to the god and kissed him harshly, he didn't pull away. In fact, he took control. He put his hands on the back of my thighs and picked me up.

Things picked up and before I could get any clothes off, he stopped me.

"We'll get there. We have time."

That phrase made me smile. We have time.

"Okay."

"Goodnight darling, sleep well I love you."

I got butterflies. "I love you too, Loki."

We fell asleep in each other's arms that night.

Around 6:30 I woke up and Loki was gone. I waited about five minutes in case he was in the bathroom but when I saw the light off I got up and walked the facility. Checking his room and the lab first. I focused and felt everyone around me, letting them in.

Once I found Loki, I noticed Thor was with him, and so was Tony and someone else.

I walked to them and saw them all talking.

"Father, I don't want to leave. I'm happy here."

"I do not care, son. Let's go." He grabbed Loki's arm.

I ran into the room and yelled. "Let go of him!"

"Y/n!" Tony widened his eyes.

"You lied to me!" I yelled at Loki. "You said we had time. You said you loved me. You can't leave." I shook my head.

"You what?" His father asked.

Loki looked at his father in fear, then back to me.

"I have to, my love. What he says goes."

"It's not fair. W-why does everyone else get to be happy and in relationships but we don't." I cried and hugged him.

"I'm so sorry. You know that I'd much rather be here with you in the lab. I wish to give you the life you want my dear, a house in the country with beautiful little us's running around inventing things. Family dinner's and vacations." He began telling me about my dream life. Which we talked about a while ago.

"Children!? You've never wanted children!" Odin spoke.

"You didn't want children until you met mother."

His father looked at his sons, then me.

"If I let my boy stay, do you promise that your first born son will come to rule Asgard when he is of age?"

"Yes, yes I promise." I smiled.

"Then I must be on my way." He left without another word and I jumped into Loki's arms happily kissing him.

"I can't believe that worked!" He smiled.

"I can't believe  you fought so hard to be with her." Thor butt in. "You've never cared about anyone but yourself and mother."

"The doctor is different. She's worth it."
