Micara was loving her time at the Cullens' house

Micara was loving her time at the Cullens' house. She even got to say hi to Carlisle because he came home early. He seemed nice and was happy she was staying round. Renesmee was round Jacob's and Macey was always up in their room. Alice said it wasn't because they didn't like her, it was because they didn't like to be touched.

Jasper was still being a moody teenager. He was in the loveseat, reading the same thick book that Rosalie had caught him with earlier. Micara had surprisingly tried to talk to Jasper.

"Do you like to read often?" She wondered, unsure on how to start a conversation with the person who acted like he hated her.

Jasper nodded.

"What's your favourite book?" She wondered

Jasper shrugged. "Read too many,"

"But if you had to chose?" She asked with a small smile.

Jasper sighed. "Why the questions all of a sudden?"

Rosalie glared at him when Micara's small smile dropped, then Jasper sighed yet again.

"Maybe this one, I've read it a lot. Never gets old," Jasper told, looking at Rosalie with a 'are you happy?' look

"What's it about?" Micara asked

"Find out," Jasper said passing the book over to her, for her to read the back.

Micara found it boring. Though, not to hurt Jasper's feelings, she looked up from the back and smiled at him passing it back.

"It looks good," Micara lied

But suddenly, Jasper chuckled.

"You think it looks boring," Jasper smirked in amusement.

Micara blushed in embarrassment.

"I didn't want to hurt your feelings," She mumbled

Jasper went to turn away but instead he looked at her. She was covering her blush with her jumper sleeve, nothing special but something seemed to happen. It was unusual and confusing so Jasper just ignored the invisible thing and went to his room.

The half-breed recovered from the blush stroke and yawned, suddenly being teleported to Rosalie's room and already on the pull-out-couch. Micara sighed, exhausted and rested her head on the pillow given.

"Good night Care-bear," Rosalie smiled but the half-breed was already out of it.

Micara sighed when her eyes opened again it was still dark outside. Her throat was itchy and scratchy and she wanted a drink. She quietly took the duvet off of her and opened Rosalie's bedroom door. She immediately heard whispers and decided to sneak and listen to it.

"Jasper, I see no harm in this girl," Carlisle's voice echoed authority.

"She's amazing, I can't believe she's like Renesmee," Bella sighed

"I still don't like it," Jasper whined, "She could turn at any minute,"

"I don't think she will," Carlisle said

"What if her sister contacts her? What if she comes to Canada? Comes here? Sees me and, I don't know, but what if?" Jasper asked

"Then we do what we did last time, we move," Carlisle told his son.

"I don't want to move again," Renesmee frowned

"We might have to," Edward told his daughter

"But what about Micara? She doesn't like it with her sister. It's obvious, Jasper, come on dude, she's different," Renesmee seethed

"No, I'm telling you now Renesmee, when I was with Maria, she was horrible and I wished I'd never met 'er. I have seen pictures of Micara when I was in the Mexican coven, now I don't know where Micara was, but it's obvious that she wasn't like what she is now. Micara is dangerous and you need to stay away from her," Jasper told sternly

"Excuse me?" Micara said walking into the kitchen.

Jasper cursed under his breath and the rest of them looked at Micara wearily. Everyone saw the tears in her eyes.

"How do you know my sister?" Micara asked, a tear slipping from her grasp.

"Old acquaintances," Jasper replied

"You just said you were in the Mexican Coven. You just contradicted yourself," Micara hissed, her chin wobbling because she was so close to tears.

"Micara-"

"So this is why you've been so rotten to me," Micara interrupted, "Because you knew my sister and just because we're related to her, you hate me?"

"Look I-"

"You want me to be dangerous Jasper?" Micara asked making him narrow his eyes.

Jasper shook his head slowly.

Without warning, Micara grabbed a plate and threw it on the ground making it shatter, making Bella push Renesmee behind her.

"Be careful Ness," Jacob hissed

"I said, do you want me to be dangerous?" Micara growled dangerously.

Jasper saw an instant reminder of Maria. When they were angry, they both had the same temper and look.

"No," Jasper replied

Micara scrunched her face up as an attempt to stop bawling her eyes out. Her jaw was clenched and her eyes were watering. Though she could control her anger, she couldn't control her sadness. Somebody grabbed her and pulled her into his chest.

"Don't touch me," Micara begged but she couldn't help but lean into him and cry.

Everyone was shocked at Jasper's move and the empath himself could feel it but he didn't care.

"Jasper please don't touch me," Micara sobbed, trying to push him away but she fell on the floor.

Jasper slowly joined her and this time, she couldn't help but enter his hug to cry. She had never done that before and it felt so horrible to know what Maria had done to Jasper. Of course she didn't know all of the story, the bit where they dated, but she knew the affect that the newborn army had on people and she noticed it in Jasper. She was sorry.

From the corner, Alice watched with Macey holding her hand. Something was going to happen, and the seer didn't know what.
