The four girls are sleeping in Caroline's bed and they get woken up when Elena's phone starts ringing
Caroline: "Sleeping."
Bonnie: "Go away." the three girls groan as Caroline shoves Elena out the bed
Elena: "Hello."
Bonnie: "Shh."
Caroline: "Elena."
Aspen: "Quiet." she takes a pillow and lazily throws it at Elena's head, making her get up and crawl out into the hall

Caroline: "Ok. So tell me about this big witchy plan you've been cooking up."
Aspen: "We still don't know the extent of what Elijah's up to."
Caroline: "No, we don't."
Aspen: "So I'm gonna ask Luka to tell me what he knows."
Caroline: "And he's not gonna tell you anything."
Aspen: "He's not gonna have a choice in this matter" she smirks and notices the look that comes over Caroline's face and she turns to see Matt walk by "What's that about?"
Caroline: "Uh, I don't know. I thought that we were...I don't know." she sighs and Aspen gives her a soft look
Aspen: "I gotta check in with Andie but I'll see you in a few hours."
Caroline: "Yeah." she nods and watches Aspen get up before moving over to where Matt is working

Aspen: "Hey, Andie." she greets when walking over to where said woman is waiting by her car
Andie: "Aspen. Glad you made it."
Aspen: "You mind me asking why you guys cover events like these? The only people who truly care about them are the older members of the founding families."
Andie: "They're why we cover them" she chuckles a little as they head inside "Today we'll be covering the historical society's high tea. It's for some visiting writer. He's writing a book on small-town Virginia. FYI, big snooze."
Aspen: "Writer?"
Andie: "Yeah, uh, Elijah Smith."
Aspen: "Cool."
Andie: "Yeah. And you get the chance to do the introduction" they head inside and she looks around "He's over there. Good luck. I'm gonna go get set up." she points in the direction of where a man is standing talking with Carol and Aspen nods, heading over to him
Carol: "Have you spent much time in Richmond for your book? There's such a wealth of history there."
Elijah: "No. I'm focusing mostly on the smaller regions of Virginia. Lots of research. Strictly academic."
