Matt: "Caroline!" he calls out knocking on the door and Aspen comes out her room to see her standing in the shadows behind a door with a sad look on her face
Aspen: "Hey." she greets Matt when she opens the door
Matt: "Hey. Is Caroline here?"
Aspen: "Uh no. She went out. Didn't say where she was going. What's up?"
Matt: "Tyler's doing this whole thing at the swimming hole and I wanted me and her to spend the day together."
Aspen: "Okay. Well when she gets back I'll let her know."
Matt: "Thanks."
Aspen: "Bye."
Matt: "Bye." he smiles and she closes the door, turning back to face where Caroline had slid onto the ground
Aspen: "You okay?"
Caroline: "How long is it gonna be like this?"
Aspen: "Well according to Stefan whenever you gain control over the urges."
Caroline: "Which is when?"
Aspen: "How am I supposed to know? I'm a witch not a vampire."
Caroline: "Still can't believe that part."
Aspen: "Neither can I. I'll be back. Gotta go talk to Bonnie and pick up Stefan" she grabs her bag and turns to see the teasing look Caroline gives her "What?"
Caroline: "What?"
Aspen: "That look on your face. What's that for?"
Caroline: "Nothing." she shrugs with the teasing look and Aspen gives her a confused look
Aspen: "Okay. Back soon." she walks out the house

Bonnie: "I don't know how to make a day walking ring."
Aspen: "Emily made them, so the instructions must be in the grimoire."
Bonnie: "That doesn't mean I can cuss the spell."
Aspen: "Bonnie, you know how to drop vampires with a single look, okay? I think you can figure it out." she gives her a look
Bonnie: "Caroline killed someone, Aspen. I can't make it easier for her to do it again."
Aspen: "We're not making it easier for her. We're just giving her the chance to survive. Stefan said that she needs to hold on to her humanity and keeping her away from her life makes it that much harder."
Bonnie: "And how do you know she won't hurt anyone else?"
Aspen: "I don't. But if we can't at least trust the fact that she can keep it together, we might as well just stake her right now. I don't want to do that. Do you?" she questions and Bonnie sighs after a moment
