The Ties That Bind

Walking through the woods in a cemetery, Aspen looks at all the headstones with members of the Bennett family on them. Walking through a path she sees a coffin sitting in the middle and she slowly walks up to it. She goes to push it open but a voice behind her stops her as she spins around to see Klaus

Klaus: "I figured out how to open it. Can you?" he speeds over, biting into her neck, making her scream out in fear

Taking in deep breaths, Aspen feels around, hearing a thud as her hand comes into contact with something hard. Pulling her phone out, she uses the flashlight to see that she's in a coffin

Aspen: "Let me out! Please!" she begins banging on the top " Oh, my God. Oh, my God" she begins panicking a little, calming down a little in order to cast a spell

When it doesn't work she bangs on the top, her lip trembling as she gasps breathes. She perks up when she hears footsteps coming towards her

Aspen: "Hey! I'm in here! I'm in here! I'm in here!" she screams, pounding on the top

The coffin suddenly opens and she looks up at a woman looking down at her with the sun shining over her

Aspen: "I've been having these dreams for days now. It's like the witches are trying to send me a message." she informs Bonnie and Elena as they stand in the basement with the coffins

Elena: "I just can't believe you guys have kept this from me this whole time."

Aspen: "Stefan thought if you knew where the coffins were, Klaus could threaten people to get the information out of you."

Bonnie: "So these are the rest of his family?"

Aspen: "Yeah, Elijah and two others. Now this one...is the one we can't open. We don't know who's in it or what's in it, but...the witches sure want me to know."

Stefan: "What the hell are you doing?" he comes into the room, looking at Aspen with wide eyes

Aspen: "I needed them to know about the coffin."

Stefan: "And I needed you to keep her out of it,
Aspen." he gives her a pointed look

Elena: "So what are you going to do, Stefan? Are you going to kidnap me so that I won't tell anyone?"

Stefan: "Don't tempt me, Elena."

Aspen: "I think I know who can open the coffin, Stefan. And I need their help to find her."

Stefan: "Find who? What are you talking about?"

Aspen: "I couldn't place her face at first" she looks over at Bonnie, pulling a picture out of her pocket "Then I realized..." she holds it out for them to see, making Elena and Bonnie's eyes widen

Elena: "Oh, my God, Bonnie."

Stefan: "Who is this?"

Bonnie: "It's my mom." she breathes, looking at Aspen who gives her a soft look

Elena: "Los alamitos?" she holds up a photo of a woman for the two to look at

Aspen: "Um, too old."

Elena: "Honolulu?"

Bonnie: "Ugh, I wish. How many of these are there?"

Aspen: "A lot. I asked my mom to pull up every single Abby Bennett in the country."

Bonnie: "I know we haven't been able to really...that things have been weird because of Jeremy. So thank you for helping me with this. I know you have a lot to deal with."
