Stefan: "Sorry." he greets Aspen with a smile when she closes her locker and sees him standing there, making her jump a little in surprise
Aspen: "Hi." she breathes
Stefan: "Hey."
Aspen: "How uh...how are you?"
Stefan: "I'm good. Doing better. Really."
Aspen: "I'm glad. I'm uh-I'm sorry for what I did. The whole leg thing and-"
Stefan: "No, don't apologize. You were just helping out a friend. I actually wanted to say thank you for what you did. Without that I would still be drowning."
Aspen: "So I guess there's no more need for a detox partner."
Stefan: "Hopefully never again. But lucky for us I happen to like you as a friend more than anything."
Aspen: "Same." she nods and the give each other smiles before he motions for them to start walking down the hall together

Bonnie: "Alright show us."
Caroline: "Let's reference last year's Miss Mystic float" she types something into her computer and turns it around to show the pair "This is what they did last year and this is exactly what we don't want to do."
Bonnie: "Ew. Ok, so, what are we doing?"
Caroline: "Southern classic elegance."
Aspen: "Gone with the Wind?"
Caroline: "How'd you know?"
Aspen: "You channel Scarlett, daily."
Caroline: "So true!" she nods and they all laugh before she starts looking around "Where's Elena? She's supposed to be helping."
Bonnie: "I don't know." she shrugs with a sigh
Caroline: "Okay, what's the deal?"
Bonnie: "What do you mean?"
Caroline: "Don't play dumb. You and Elena are fighting. Spill!"
Bonnie: "It's nothing."
Caroline: "It's not nothing. You know this whole float is supposed to be about friends creating something together and everyone is fighting. Matt and Tyler hate each other, you and Elena are on the out and I don't like it! And I can't fix it if I don't know what's wrong."
Bonnie: "I can't talk about it, Caroline. I'm sorry."

Walking into the Grill, Aspen and Bonnie are laughing at something one of them said and they look over to see Elena crying, making their faces fall. Bonnie goes to move towards her when she stands up but she stops when Stefan appears behind her and she turns to walk back out the Grill
