Liv: "I can confirm that a 12-Foot puma mountain lion attacked a hunter and was subsequently shot and killed. The hunter is in stable condition."

Logan: "To repeat, the animal terrorizing Mystic Falls has been caught-"

Aspen: "I was watching that." she tells Caroline who comes into the room and turns the channel

Caroline: "Did you ever go to bed? You were sitting in that same spot last time I came in here." she asks surfing through a few channels

Aspen: "Got a few hours in. Wasn't really tired."

Caroline: "That's because you've been obsessing over that stupid crossword."

Aspen: "It's not a crossword. And I'm not obsessing. Just...curious."

Caroline: "Obsessing, curious, same thing."

Aspen: "Who's that?" she asks when the doorbell rings

Caroline: "Damon. He's helping me pick out a dress for the party tonight."

Aspen: "How fun." she sarcastically says

Caroline: "Hello." she greets him when she opens the door and he walks in to see Aspen sitting on the couch

Damon: "Hi" he presses a kiss to her cheek "Hello, Aspen." he greets and she looks up at him and rolls her eyes before looking back down at the pages in front of her

Caroline: "Don't mind her. Stefan's got her hooked on those stupid things. Come on." she pulls him into her room

Damon: "No yellow. Jaundice. Go for the blue." he says not looking up from the book he's reading

Caroline: "I don't like the blue."

Damon: "Well, I do. And if I'm gonna be your date-"

Caroline: "You cannot be my date. My mother is going to be there, and she is a very proud gun owner."

Damon: "I went through a lot of trouble to make sure this party wasn't cancelled. It's very important I be there. Please take me." he compels her

Caroline: "You should come to the founder's party with me."

Damon: "Not if you're wearing that dress" he smiles and she takes it off heading into her closet "What's so special about this Bella girl? Edward's so whipped."

Caroline: "You gotta read the first book first. It won't make sense if you don't."

Damon: "Ah, I miss Anne Rice. She was so on it."

Caroline: "How come you don't sparkle?"

Damon: "Because I live in the real world, where vampires burn in the sun."

Caroline: "Yeah, but you go in the sun."

Damon: "I have a ring. It protects me. Long story." he holds up his hand

Caroline: "Will these bites turn me into a vampire?" she looks at one of them on her back through the mirror

Damon: "It's more complicated than that. You'd have to feed on my blood, then die, then feed on a human's, whole ordeal" he explains as she moves closer to him "This book, by the way, has it all wrong." he throws it to the side and grabs her so he's hovering over her and he presses kisses to her cheek and neck

Caroline: "You can be very sweet when you want to be."

Damon: "Yes, I can be sweet." he smiles and moves some hair out of her face

Caroline: "Are you going to kill me?" she softly asks

Damon: "Mm-Hmm. But not yet."

Caroline: "Why not?"
