In his mansion, Klaus stands at a mirror shirtless as he scratches his back to try to remove the piece of stake that's inside. He takes a deep breath before slamming his shoulder into a wall, dislocating it as he screams in pain before moving back towards the mirror to try and grab the piece once more

Isla: "Klaus, we need to talk" she announces, coming into the room and seeing him slumped against the wall "What the hell happened to you?"

Klaus: "Silas. He attacked me. He stabbed me with the white oak stake. A piece of it is still inside me." he pants, stumbling over to a table as he leans on it

Isla: "My God, Klaus, that could kill you."

Klaus: "I certainly feel like I'm dying." he whimpers in pain a little as she runs her hand through his hair, softly grabbing hold of his face

Isla: "And as much as I would love to watch you die, you still haven't found me that cure." her voice drops as her face hardens and he jerks away from he, knocking over the table as he falls to the ground

Klaus: "Silas!"

Isla: "That's right. Last night I looked like Shane. Today I look like Isla. And tomorrow, who knows?"

Klaus: "Show me your real face."

Isla: "Now, why would I do that when I can look like whomever I want you to see?" she smirks, walking closer to him, making him move back in fright "It's very simple Klaus. Bring me the cure and I'll leave you alone. Even an idiot can do that. So you should have no problem." she smirks, disappearing when he looks back up, making him exhale

Isla: "If pissing me off was part of your plan to get me to talk to you, congrats. You've succeeded. This better be life and death." she snaps, storming into the house

Klaus: "Go away."

Isla: "Klaus? Where are you?" she looks around, turning a corner to see him sitting on the ground with his knees tucked to his chest as he shakes "What happened to you?"

Klaus: "I need more time. Stop hounding me!"

Isla: "I'm hounding you?" her face hardens as she gives him a look of disbelief "Believe me when I say you are the last person I want to be around right now."

Klaus: "Is-Isla. Is it really you?" he slowly looks at her as she shrugs her shoulders and he stands up a little so he's sitting on a chair "Prove it to me."

Isla: "I don't have time for this." she shakes her head, turning to walk off

Klaus: "Wait, please" he pleads, making her stop in her steps with a sigh "Silas. He stabbed me with the white oak stake. There's a little piece of it stuck inside me."

Isla: "Why would Silas attack you?"

Klaus: "Well, I was in no position to ask questions. Suffice it to say, I'm hurt. So you can understand why I called you."

Isla: "You let my daughter almost get killed with the excuse of she's dying anyway and you think I'm the person to call for help?" she scoffs

Klaus: "If I die, you, Stefan, all of Aspen's friends die with me."

Isla: "What do you want me to do?"

Klaus: "Well, it's quite simple, really. I need you to cut the stake out of me." he motions down to the pliers lying on the ground

🔘

Isla: "Oh, my God. You do have a heart" she gasps in shock twisting the pliers a little, making Klaus groan in pain "Oh, my bad. It's just a bloody rib."
