Aspen: "I mean, Katherine looked just like you. It was freakish."
Elena: "She is my ancestor" she sighs "Hey, I moved the student booth into the cafeteria."
Bonnie: "Your vampire ancestor."
Aspen: "And she didn't just resemble you like a family member would. She was you."
Elena: "I don't-I don't know, I can't explain it. It's creepy, that's all I got."
Bonnie: "Well how do you know she's not still out there pretending to be you?"
Elena: "I don't, but I could sit here and be tortured by the not-knowing or I could get these prices to the ring toss."
Bonnie: "Have you talked to Damon since he killed Jeremy...or tried to kill Jeremy?"
Elena: "No Bonnie, I haven't and I won't and I don't want to talk about Damon or anything else that's vampire related. Okay?" she puts a bag full of toys into her arms
Bonnie: "Copy that."
Elena: "I'm human. I have to do human stuff. Otherwise, I'm going to go crazy."
Aspen: "Okay, I'm sorry, we'll focus. We have to make Caroline proud or she will kill us. I don't know how she does this all the time." she sighs, looking down at the clipboard in her hands with the list of things that need to get done
Elena: "Well because she's not human, obviously."
Bonnie: "Obviously."

Stefan: "Right. Well, today we have a nice little distraction courtesy of the slave driver Aspen" he says when sensing her coming and turns to face her with a smile when she gets over to them "Hello Aspen."
Aspen: "Hey, did you-"
Jeremy: "Yeah, yeah, I set up the golden fish toss. All 300 golden fish. It's gonna be epic." he gives a fake smile and shuts his locker, walking away
Aspen: "O...kay." she purses her lips a little, watching him walk off
Stefan: "He's gonna be alright. He's just been through a little bit of an ordeal."
Aspen: "Can't say I blame him. I mean how do you come back from having your neck snapped by a vampire who was throwing a tantrum because a girl rejected him?"
Stefan: "He just needs some time. He's new to all of this" he shrugs, looking down at the clipboard in her hands "Speaking of being new to things. How are you doing?"
Aspen: "I want Caroline back" she whines and he chuckles "She has the right amount of peppy that a person needs for this job. I am seriously this close to pulling out my hair."
Stefan: "Well before that happens how about I take some things off your plate." he shrugs and she goes to say something but stops herself
Aspen: "Actually...I just need you to stand guard." a smirk comes over her face and he gives her a confused look
