Aspen: "Have you even talked to Bonnie?" she asks Caroline as they stand in their kitchen getting their stuff together for school
Caroline: "No. I'm mad at her. She needs to make the first move."
Aspen: "Be the bigger person."
Caroline: "Impossible in her presence."
Aspen: "Why are you so pissed at her, anyway?"
Caroline: "She's a thief. That's why. I gave her my necklace, and she refuses to give it back. It's a matter of principle."
Aspen: "All right. Well, I tried. I'm officially out of it."
Caroline: "Good." she nods
Liz: "Morning girls." she greets coming into the room and Aspen tenses a little while looking at her
Caroline: "Hi" she mutters before turning to face Aspen "Ready to go."
Liz: "We still need to talk about the other night."
Caroline: "We're gonna be late. Education and all that, remember." she gives a fake smile, grabbing her bag and walking out to the car
Liz: "Better get going before she leaves you."
Aspen: "Yeah" she breathes and grabs her bag, going to walk out the room but stops herself "Hey mom."
Liz: "Yeah?"
Aspen: "What was all that at the party?"
Liz: "What do you mean?"
Aspen: "Seemed intense. You had most of your deputies there."
Liz: "They were serving alcohol to underage teenagers. Had to make sure a lot of them got home safe."
Aspen: "What about that woman you guys took outside?"
Liz: "I took a lot of women outside, you're going to need to be more specific."
Aspen: "She was a...blonde, I think."
Liz: "Doesn't ring a bell. But I am sure that we got her home safe and sound."
Aspen: "Right. Yeah, I'm sure you did."
Liz: "Have a good day, sweetheart." she moves over and presses a kiss to her cheek
Aspen: "Love you."
Liz: "Love you too." she calls out as Aspen slowly walks towards the door

Walking into history class, Aspen looks up from her phone and sees Elena wave at her and she gives her a small smile before moving over to her desk and Elena gives her figure a questioning look
Alaric: "Good morning everyone. Alrighty." he greets coming into the room once the bell rings and begins writing on the board
Elena: "Are you alright?" she mouths to Aspen who nods and turns her head forward, messing with the ends of her jacket
